He preached about the significance of the "east" direction in the Bible and how the "east" is where the sun rises from and signifies a life in Jesus Christ, the true Son. He preached about Advent and how it is a time to prepare our lives to ensure we are walking in the "east" direction to meet Jesus when He arrives!

Jesus approached him and told him to stretch out his hand and until he stretched out his hand to Jesus, his hand was healed. The same for us - until we stretch out whatever it is that is our source of shame and embarrassment to Jesus - we will not be healed.
