The Shadow investigates several accidents are occurring at a lumber camp. The workers believe it is a backwoods creature named "The Creeper" who's responsible.  Commentary on the comparisons of a previous Shadow episode named The Creeper and a look at the real life Indian guide Squanto.

Last time, a logger presumably afflicted with the White Plague died who may have taken the secret of the curse to his grave unless Clark can figure it out before more men die.  Commentary on Clark's lesson to Jim my and the listener about America and coal formation.  Plus, The Superman TV episode Jungle Devil in which Kent crushes a lump of coal into a diamond and whether that could really happen.

A group of scientists break through an Egyptian tomb and discover a fortune in jewels, but conspire to keep the treasure for themselves. The scientists have a falling out, and 20 years later, one is taking revenge on the others.  Commentary on the most deadliest spiders in the world including one horrifying story involving a Brown Recluse.

Clark and Jimmy head to the Great White North to a logging camp for a little rest and relaxation but find that men are mysteriously dying from a curse known as the White Plague.

Iris lets slip that one of Liz's friends is throwing a party Saturday night, and Liz and George aren't invited. But which friend is it?  Commentary on the comparison with this episode to Halloween Surprise Party with the exception of how the writers misfired once again by writing Liz somewhat untruthfully at the end.  One more episode to go!
