Many things are changing, such as their look and economy, but some things are the same, like the good people of Kannapolis. The students used their research skills of Plan, Do, Review (Super3) to complete this project. Mrs. Shores' sixth graders at Dunbar Elementary School made this video to introduce you to the neighborhood around their school. The school is located just south of downtown Phoenix. The school is named after Paul Lawrence Dunbar, a great African-American poet. This is an inner-city neighborhood, but residents take a lot of pride in the neighborhood and the school.
