Activate the provision of revival by putting God first. Matthew 6:33 Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all of these other things shall be added unto you. Luke 6:38 Give, and you will receive. Your gift will return to you in full—pressed down, shaken together to make room for more, running over, and poured into your lap. The amount you give will determine the amount you get back. 2 Corinthians 9:10 For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you. Activate the purpose of revival by following your flow of concern. Romans 1:8-13 8 First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for all of you, because your faith is being reported all over the world. 9 God, whom I serve in my spirit in preaching the gospel of His Son, is my witness how constantly I remember you 10 in my prayers at all times; and I pray that now at last by God's will the way may be opened for me to come to you. 11 I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong— 12 that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other's faith. 13 I do not want you to be unaware, brothers and sisters, that I planned many times to come to you (but have been prevented from doing so until now) in order that I might have a harvest among you, just as I have had among the other Gentiles. The clarity of Scripture Psalm 19:8 NLT "The commandments of the Lord are right, bringing joy to the heart. The commands of the Lord are clear, giving insight for living." 2 Chronicles 34:14-19 TLB 14 One day when Hilkiah the High Priest was at the Temple recording the money collected at the gates, he found an old scroll that turned out to be the laws of God as given to Moses! 15 "Look!" Hilkiah exclaimed to Shaphan, the king's secretary." See what I have found in the Temple! These are the laws of God!" 16 Hilkiah gave the scroll to Shaphan, and Shaphan took it to the king, along with his report that there was good progress being made in the reconstruction of the Temple. 17 "The money chests have been opened and counted, and the money has been put into the hand of the overseers and workmen," he said to the king. 18 Then he mentioned the scroll and how Hilkiah had discovered it. So he read it to the king. 19 When the king heard what these laws required of God's people, he ripped his clothing in despair. He read it. Repentance - God's Word brings us to repentance. Hebrews 4:12-13 NLT 12 For the Word of God is alive and powerful. It is sharper than the sharpest two-edged sword, cutting between soul and spirit, between joint and marrow. It exposes our innermost thoughts and desires. 13 Nothing in all creation is hidden from God. Everything is naked and exposed before His eyes, and He is the one to Whom we are accountable. Power - God's Word gives us power. Jeremiah 23:29 NLT "Does not my word burn like fire?" says the Lord. "Is it not like a mighty hammer that smashes a rock to pieces?" 2 Chronicles 34:29-33 ISV 29 The king sent word to gather all the elders of Judah and Jerusalem. 30 Then the king went up to the Lord's Temple, accompanied by the men of Judah, the inhabitants of Jerusalem, the priests and descedants of Levi, and everyone else from the most important to the least important, and he read out loud all the words of the book of the covenant that had been found in the Lord's temple. 31 While standing in his appointed place, the king made a public covenant with the Lord to follow the Lord, to keep His commandments, His testimonies, and His statutes, and to do so with all of his heart and soul, and to carry out what was written in the covenant contained in the book. 32 He also made everyone who was present in Jerusalem and Benjamin to stand in agreement with him. As a result, the inhabitants of Jerusalem reconfirmed the covenant of God, the God of their ancestors. 33 Josiah also removed all the detestable things from the territories that belonged to the people of Israel, and made everyone who lived in Israel to serve the Lord their God. For the rest of his life, they didn't abandon their quest to follow the Lord God of their ancestors. Set apart - God's Word sets us apart. John 17:17-20 ISV 17 "Sanctify them by the truth. Your word is truth. 18 Just as you sent me into the world, so I have sent them into the world. 19 It is for their sakes that I sanctify myself, so that they, too, may be sanctified by the truth. 20 I ask not only on behalf of these men, but also on behalf of those who will believe in me through their message. 2 Kings 23:25 GNT There had never been a king like him before, who served the Lord with all his heart, mind, and strength, obeying all the Law of Moses; nor has there been a king like him since. 1. God is holy. (Absolutely pure) 2. God is omnipotent. (All powerful) 3. God is just. (Equitable in His dealings) 4. God is sovereign. (Above and independent of all others) 5. God is omnipresent. (Everywhere present at once) 6. God is omniscient. (All knowing) 7. God is love. (Has the best interests of all His created beings in mind at all times) Traditionally, Protestant theologians have highlighted four essential characteristics of Scripture: 1. Sufficiency 2. Clarity 3. Authority 4. Necessity Sufficiency - The Scriptures contain everything we need for knowledge of salvation and godly living. We don't need any new revelation from Heaven. Clarity - The saving message of Jesus Christ is taught in the Scriptures and can be understood by all who have ears to hear it. We don't need an official magisterium to tell us what the Bible means. Authority - The last work always goes to the Word of God. We must never allow the teachings of science, of human experience, or of church councils to take precedence over Scripture. Necessity - General revelation is not enough to save us. We cannot know God by means of personal experience and human reasoning. We need God's Word to tell us how to live, who Christ is, and how to be saved. God's Word is final God's Word is understandable God's Word is necessary God's Word is enough 2 Timothy 3:16-17 NKJV 16 All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, 17 that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly-equipped for every good work. "Of the four attributes of Scripture, this may be the one that evangelists forget first. If authority is the liberal problem, clarity the postmodern problem, and necessity the problem for atheists and agnostics, then sufficiency is the attribute most quickly doubted by rank-and-file church going Christians. No redeemer will come after Him There is no new revelation needed than what the Bible teaches about Him! If redemption is complete, then revelation is complete!

God is saying, "You moved. I did not." Matthew 16:13-18 NLT 13 When Jesus came into the region of Caesarea Philippi, He asked His disciples, "Who do people say that the Son of Man is?" 14 "Well," they replied, "some say John the Baptist, some say Elijah, and others say Jeremiah or one of the other prophets." 15 Then He asked them, "Who do you say I am?" 16 Simon Peter answered, "You are the Messiah, the Son of the Living God." 17 Jesus replied, "You are blessed, Simon son of John, because My Father in Heaven has revealed this to you. 18 You did not learn this from any human being. Now I say to you that you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build My church, and all the powers of hell will not conquer it..." You will never develop stability until you learn to hear God's voice! Matthew 17:1-6 NLT 1 Six days later Jesus took Peter and the two brothers, James and John, and led them up a high mountain. 2 As the men watched, Jesus' appearance changed so that His face shone like the sun, and His clothing became dazzling white. 3 Suddenly, Moses and Elijah appeared and began talking with Jesus. 4 Peter blurted out, "Lord, this is wonderful! If you want me to, I'll make three shrines, one for You, one for Moses, and one for Elijah." 5 But even as he said it, a bright cloud came over them, and a voice from the cloud said, "This is My beloved Son, and I am fully pleased with Him. Listen to Him." 6 The disciples were terrified and fell face down on the ground. We pick and choose the parts of the Bible we want to obey and blow off the rest! 2 Peter 1:16-21 NLT 16 For we were not making up clever stories when we told you about the power of our Lord Jesus Christ and His coming again. We have seen His majestic splendor with our own eyes. 17 And He received honor and glory from God the Father when God's glorious, majestic voice called down from Heaven, "This is My beloved Son; I am fully pleased with Him." 18 We ourselves heard the voice when we were there with Him on the holy mountain. 19 Because of that, we have even greater confidence in the message proclaimed by the prophets. Pay close attention to what they wrote, for their words are like a light shining in a dark place- until the day Christ appears and His brilliant light shines in your hearts. 20 Above all, you must understand that no prophecy in Scripture ever came from the prophets themselves or because they wanted to prophesy. 21 It was the Holy Spirit who moved the prophets to speak from God. The text of scripture, according to Peter, carries the same weight as the words of Jesus did when He spoke them physically on this earth! People don't want truth to be fixed!

"God whispers to us in our pleasure, but He shouts to us in our pain." - C.S. Lewis Proverbs 20:30 HCSB Lashes and wounds purge away evil, and beatings cleanse the innermost parts. When your pain gets worse than your fear, then you change. Psalm 77:2 When I was in distress, I sought the Lord. 1 Chronicles 14:8-11 8 When the Philistines learned that David had been made king of Israel, they mobilized all of their forces against him, to attack and enslave him but David heard the news, and he moved to his fortified place. 9 Then the Philistine army moved in and spread out across the entire valley. I watched the Lord break through my enemies like a mighty flood." So he named the place, "The Lord Broke Through!" Never fight a battle without asking God first! It is the Lord we seek - not the breakthrough! 2 Chronicles 19:4 HCSB Jehoshaphat lived in Jerusalem, and once again he went out among the people from Beersheba to the hill country of Ephraim and brought them back to Yahweh, the God of their ancestors. Satan attacked him, not because he was doing wrong, but because he was doing good! 2 Chronicles 20:1-4 1 After this, the Moabites and Ammonites, together with some of the Meunites, came to fight against Jehoshaphat. 2 People came and told Jehoshaphat, "A vast number from beyond the Dead Sea and from Edom has come to fight against you; they are already in "Hazazon-tamar" (that is - Engedi) 3 Jehoshaphat was afraid, and he resolved to seek the Lord. 4 Then he proclaimed a fast for all Judah, who gathered to seek the Lord.
