On this special extra episode of Good Law | Bad Law we talk about a few major things going on in our country. First, we talk about Nevada ratifying the Equal Rights Act which gives women all the same constitutional rights as men. Second, we talk through a lawsuit that has been moving through the courts put forth by a group of teenagers. The lawsuit says the government and oil companies knew the damage being done but failed to do anything to stop it. This week we discuss a lawsuit against the US government and US Marines because it was found that the water at camp Lejeune has been contaminated and causing illnesses in people stationed there for years. Aaron explains the many difficulties that come when trying to sue the US government and some resources for veterans who may have been effected. We also discuss a listener submitted question about the new travel ban issues by the Trump administration and how it differs from the previous one. We also give our opinions on whether or not we think it will pass. Today Aaron and Mitch discuss the MLB hazing ban and the backlash it is receiving by some of the leagues more seasoned members. The former Chicago Cubs manager has come out against the ban saying it's too difficult to uphold because hazing is in the culture. We also discuss in more detail the Trump administration reversal of the Title IX guidance former president Obama had put in place during his terms in office.
