The Blessings And Benefits Of The Bible - Part 1/7 | File Type: video/mp4 | Duration: 43:08

Psalm 119 is about God's Word, the Bible. It happens to be the longest psalm in the book of Psalms and the longest chapter of the entire Bible. Not that we should judge the importance of a chapter in the Bible based on how many verses it contains, but there is something to be said for the longest chapter in the Bible being about the Bible! Perhaps we should pay attention to what God emphasizes concerning Scripture and learn about all the many blessings and benefits of applying God's Word to our lives. In today's introduction to Psalm 119, Pastor Gary lays out the importance of the Bible— how it is Inspired, Inerrant, and Infallible. In a day when many churches and Christian colleges, universities, and seminaries no longer hold to the authority of God's Word, let us capture a love for the Bible and hold it in high regard as the foundation for faith and practice.

Jesus The King, Priest, And Judge | File Type: video/mp4 | Duration: 45:44

One thousand years before Christ, David wrote Psalm 110 about Christ. It is classified as a Messianic psalm. David prophetically wrote about the Messiah--Jesus--who is King, Priest, and Judge. But how does that specifically apply to each of us? What does it mean that Jesus is my King, my Priest, and my Judge? Join Pastor Gary as we answer these questions in today's study from Psalm 110.

The Goodness & Love Of God | File Type: video/mp4 | Duration: 39:12

A big objection to Christianity that some people have concerns the goodness and love of God. Their skepticism is posed in a question like this--"How could a good and loving God allow such heartache and suffering in the world?" And yet, the psalmist tells us in Psalm 107 that "the Lord is good; his love endures forever." How do we reconcile those things? Join Pastor Gary in today's study on the "Goodness and Love of God."

 God's Faithfulness, Our Forgetfulness | File Type: video/mp4 | Duration: 40:26

All of us can be forgetful at times. But the most serious type of forgetfulness is when we forget God—how good He is and how mighty are His deeds. Israel was guilty of this in Psalm 106. They became discontent, dissatisfied, and disobedient toward God, which are all forms of forgetfulness. Still, God was merciful, loving, and compassionate toward them. He continued to pursue them, love them, care for them, and forgive them. We need this reminder in our own lives for the times that we, like the Israelites, will fail God. Join Pastor Gary for today’s study in Psalm 106.

 A Blameless Life | File Type: video/mp4 | Duration: 38:38

In Psalm 101 David expresses his desire to lead a blameless life before God. But who can really lead a blameless life since none of us is perfect? The Hebrew word can be translated as "sincere, complete, whole, with integrity." So even though we have faults, we too can lead a blameless life before God as long as we are intentional about living a sincere, whole-hearted life of integrity before God. Noah had his faults; so did Abraham. But both these men we called "blameless" in Scripture. Join Pastor Gary for today's study on "A Blameless Life".
