Summary: Japan Top 10 is a podcast show that focuses on the discovery of current and past Japanese music along with providing informative context regarding each song featured on the show. Various hosts build a connection with listeners by expressing their own thoughts and opinions about the songs featured on an episode and interact with listeners whenever possible. 「Japan Top 10」 (ジャパン・トップテン）というのは、日本の音楽、Jポップなどについてのポッドキャストです。Japan Top 10の目的は、最近のJポップ、Jロックやアニソン、昔のJポップ、アイドルなどを再生しながら、その音楽についての情報を英語で教えます。ポッドキャストのDJ達は自分の意見、感想を表現することで聴取者達との関係を発展します。そして、聴取者のリクエスト、意見をよく聞きます。今、日本のiTunes Storeでの第1位のミュージック・ポッドキャストです。 普通、「Japan Top 10」のエピソードは隔週の「カウントダウン・エピソード」です。カウントダウン・エピソードで、最近の日本の人気ある歌のトップテンを再生しながらアーティスト、歌についての情報を教えます。その後、３つの「エキストラ・ソング」を再生します。エキストラ・ソングというのは、聴取者がリクエストした色々なジャンルの歌です。例えば、ボーカロイド、アニソン、ヴィジュアル系、アイドルなどのジャンルからのエキストラ・ソングを再生することがあります。カウントダウン・エピソードは、二週間に一回。 それに、特別なテーマの「スペシャル・エピソード」も作ります。例えば、前のスペシャル・エピソードは「８０年代のJポップ」、「アイドルの歌」、「最近のJポップのバラード」などというテーマを使いました。 そして、月の一日に公開される「Artist of the Month」（優秀アーティスト）というエピソードで、日本の最近の有名なアーティスト、バンドについて教えながら、そのアーティスト、バンドの５つのトップ・ヒットを再生します。 詳しくは、「Japan Top 10」のサイト、http://jtop10.jp を見て下さい。リクエスト、反応、ご意見は、info@jtop10.jp にメールして下さい。 「Japan Top 10」Google Play Music、Stitcher、iTunes Store、TuneInなどのポッドキャスト・サービスで聞けます。そして、もちろん、「Japan Top 10」のサイト、jtop10.jp でもポッドキャストを聞けます。 Japan Top 10 also openly supports indie artists and bands who create Japanese music, or Japanese-inspired music, via the “Indie Discovery” segment on our podcasts. A regular Japan Top 10 episode consists of a top 10 music countdown featuring some of the biggest Japanese radio hits, along with 3 extra songs! These are released on a bi-weekly basis on Tuesdays. We also produce special episodes on a variety of Japanese music themes. One special episode will replace a regular episode on a bi-monthly basis. Each month, we feature a well-known Japanese artist or band and their 5 biggest songs so far in an “Artist of the Month". These are released on the first day of each month.
