We've been teasing it for a month now and its FINALLY time to unveil our full length, deep dive, spoiler-free Clank Legacy Review!  This game has completely dominated the gaming table here in the War Room and we are so excited about this review that we brought in the lovely Boardgame Bella to tell us about her experiences!  We also report on our recent plays of Artemis Project, Dragon Castle, Master of Orion, Edge of Darkness and more!

Nothing will be hotter heading into the holiday season the the exciting new Clank Legacy: Acquisitions Incorporated, and we have some initial impressions to share with everyone!  We also look at Twice as Clever, the NEW Feast for Odin Expansion and Tudor. We dive into a heart warming story regarding the Evil Dead 2 Kickstarter, then talk about Burgle Bros 2, Fiasco and Half Truth.  The highlight of this episode is easy to guess.... Questions from the hat with Cat is back!

Brandon takes a trip to Cloudcroft for a boardgame retreat and Josh takes a trip to Total Wine. A mysterious (and SMASHED) package arrives from Baker of Bored Online Board Offline. Josh treats the listeners with Outtakes during the THEN segment.  The NOW segment features some exciting new hotness including Star Wars: Outer Rim and The Scarlet Pimpernel. The show is concluded with a deep dive review of Watergate from Capstone Games.

A flashback to GenCon of Yesteryear finds its way into our THEN segment as we check in on our hits and misses from GenCon 2018.  We talk about our recent plays of Carson City: The Card Game, Grimm Masquerade, Finger Guns at High Noon and Bargain Quest. Our TOMORROW segment focuses on upcoming excitement like Dinogenics, Copenhagen Roll & Write and the upcoming Academy Games title, One Small Step.  We wrap up the episode with a deep dive investigation into Detective: City of Angels from Van Ryder Games.

In this episode we FINALLY live up to our initial threats and make the Brawling Brothers Blend a real thing!  We've taken the top 50 games from 200+ Brawlers and had our local statistician churn out a list that ranks the submitted games into, what we are certain is, the best boardgames 2019!  We invited our good friend and fellow Brawler, Baker from Bored Online Board Offline to join in the festivities - so tune in and hear what the Brawlers have deemed the best boardgames 2019.

SaltCon is one of our very favorite conventions of the year and we spend much of this episode talking about our friends, experiences, the food and #boardgames of SaltCon 2019!  We got a sneak peek of Sleeping Gods from Red Raven Games, Legends of Novus from FunDaMental Games and OverBattle from Syther Gaming.  Our newest obbession may be Russian Railroads, and we aren't afraid to say it!

We flash back to games we were playing this week last year, including Godfather and 7th Continent - talk about the games we are playing NOW, including Forum Trajanum, The Big Dig and Railroad Ink.  Then we hang out with Evan Derrick of Van Ryder Games and play an exciting (and embarrassing) game, talk about the upcoming Season 2 Graphic Novels and then look at Blowback from The Enigma Emporium.
