 Twin Peaks Unwrapped 20: S2E13 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:13:50

Bryon and Ben discuss Twin Peaks episode 13. “Yes, Twin Peaks still dragging out this interminable mystery, although ABC promises a solution next week. While David Lynch’s twisted soap opera ranks as Saturday’s best series, it has lost much of the panache of its extraordinary first season.” - Pittsburgh Post-Gazette 11/3/90Twitter: @TwinPeaksUnwrapFacebook: www.facebook.com/TwinPeaksUnwrappedEmail:TwinPeaksUnwrapped@gmail.comwww.TwinPeaksUnwrapped.comSources:“Sycamore Trees" lyrics by David Lynch, music by Angelo Badalamenti and sung by Jimmy Scott Wrapped in Plastic magazine #20Wrapped in Plastic magazine #21Wrapped in Plastic magazine #57

Bryon and Ben discuss Twin Peaks episode 11. “Will Cooper come to Audrey’s rescue? Her father Ben Horne has an unusual opinion about Cooper playing the hero. If the owls continue to be not what they seem Audrey’s rescue may have to wait. For some reason owls figure prominently in Laura Palmer’s death and their significance may or may not be explained this week.” Wilmington Morning Star 10/20/90  Twitter: @TwinPeaksUnwrapFacebook: www.facebook.com/TwinPeaksUnwrappedEmail:TwinPeaksUnwrapped@gmail.comSources:“Sycamore Trees" lyrics by David Lynch, music by Angelo Badalamenti and sung by Jimmy Scott Wrapped in Plastic magazine #20

Twin Peaks Unwrapped 15: Secret Diary of Laura Palmer (Spoilers) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:58:34

For the 25th anniversary, Bryon and Ben discuss the Secret Diary of Laura Palmer. “Jennifer Lynch has taken her father’s conception of a good girl gone bad and run with it; she writes in prose style that’s all the more unsettling for being so clear and simple. Lynch manages to work in most of the characters that populate the television show (even the Log Lady puts in a cameo here), but she never turns the book into a plug for the series. The Secret Diary of Laura Palmer is a real shocker: a good novel. B+” - Entertainment Weekly 10/5/90Twitter: @TwinPeaksUnwrapFacebook: www.facebook.com/TwinPeaksUnwrappedEmail:TwinPeaksUnwrapped@gmail.comTwinPeaksUnwrapped.comSources:“Sycamore Trees" lyrics by David Lynch, music by Angelo Badalamenti and sung by Jimmy Scott

 Twin Peaks Unwrapped 14: S2E9 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:30:35

Bryon and Ben discuss Twin Peaks episode 9. “The eerie prime-time soap opera finally comes to rest in its regular weekly time slot. Agent Cooper and the town’s police force, with the aid of an apparition (no joking! one appears regularly in the form of a giant in Cooper’s hotel room), come close to discovering the identity of Laura Palmer’s murderer.” - The Tuscaloosa News 10/06/90Twitter: @TwinPeaksUnwrapFacebook: www.facebook.com/TwinPeaksUnwrappedEmail:TwinPeaksUnwrapped@gmail.comTwinPeaksUnwrapped.comSources:“Sycamore Trees" lyrics by David Lynch, music by Angelo Badalamenti and sung by Jimmy Scott

Twin Peaks Unwrapped 13: John Thorne | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:15:03

Bryon and Ben interview John Thorne, co-creator and co-editor of Wrapped in Plastic magazine. “For thirteen years and seventy-five issues, Twin Peaks fans had one safe haven in a media landscape completely indifferent, even hostile, to the strange, wonderful world they loved. Publishing its first issue in October 1992, a month after the critically-reviled Twin Peaks: Fire Walk With Me bombed at the box office, and going on permanent hiatus in September 2005, two years before the Gold Box DVD collection would introduce a new generation to the TV series, Wrapped in Plastic carried the torch during the long dark age of Twin Peaks. Or rather, it ensured that this dark age was in fact a golden era, with vital new interviews, deeply insightful essays, and the latest cast-and-crew news bundled into a slick, appealing package every couple months. Wrapped in Plastic was a fanzine but it was also something more: a vital source of scholarship in an era when one of the most iconic, original, and influential TV shows of all time was rarely discussed.” - Joel Bocko http://thedancingimage.blogspot.com/2014/10/unwrapping-twin-peaks-conversation-with.html (Read Joel’s great interviews with John Thorne!)   Twitter:

Bryon and Ben discuss Twin Peaks episode 8. “The season premiere, which may or may not answer some questions about last season’s doings, finds Agent Cooper alive and and seeking the solution to Laura Palmer’s murder.” - Pittsburgh Post-Gazette 9/28/90Twitter: @TwinPeaksUnwrapFacebook: www.facebook.com/TwinPeaksUnwrappedEmail:TwinPeaksUnwrapped@gmail.comSources:“Sycamore Trees" lyrics by David Lynch, music by Angelo Badalamenti and sung by Jimmy Scott Wrapped in Plastic magazine #11Wrapped in Plastic magazine #54

Twin Peaks Unwrapped 11: Joel Bocko (Spoilers) | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:32:58

Bryon and Ben talk with Joel Bocko, creator of ‘Journey Through Twin Peaks’ video essays.“I’ve watched Twin Peaks in its entirety about four times since 2010, and Bocko highlights points in the series that I never noticed. It’s the loving criticism the series deserves. He presents a coherent thesis, that the magic formula of Twin Peaks is a child of the tension between David Lynch and Mark Frost, and backs it up with specific examples of the different ways they treat characters and situations. I wouldn’t recommend doing so, but someone could easily watch his series without any knowledge of Twin Peaks and have a clear understanding of what makes the show work.” - Cody Ray Shafer, SleepyRoof.wordpress.comJourney Through Twin Peaks’ video essaysthedancingimage.blogspot.com/2015/02/journey-through-twin-peaks.htmlYouTube: MovieMan0283Twitter: @LostInTheMoviesTwitter:

 Twin Peaks Unwrapped 10: S1E7 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:58:01

Bryon and Ben discuss Twin Peaks episode 7. ‘“The finale for this season zeroes in on Laura Palmer’s murderer, but the intrigue in the Northwestern logging town is far from over. The most audaciously original TV series of the season leaves us wanting more. And more we shall get. ABC has picked up Twin Peaks for the fall.”  Sarasota Herald-Tribune 5/23/90 Twitter: @TwinPeaksUnwrapFacebook: www.facebook.com/TwinPeaksUnwrappedEmail:TwinPeaksUnwrapped@gmail.comSources:“Sycamore Trees" lyrics by David Lynch, music by Angelo Badalamenti and sung by Jimmy Scott Wrapped in Plastic magazine #6Wrapped in Plastic magazine #50

 Twin Peaks Unwrapped 9: S1E6 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:02:21

Bryon and Ben discuss Twin Peaks episode 6. “The next to last installment for this season stirs things up as FBI Agent Cooper and the Bookhouse Boys go to One-Eyed Jacks where Audrey has wheedled her way in as a hostess.. On an even more macabre note, Dr. Jacoby gets a telephone call in which the caller identifies herself as Laura Palmer. This episode is directed by Caleb Deschanel, who did The Black Stallion.” Sarasota Herald-Tribune 5/17/90 Twitter: @TwinPeaksUnwrapFacebook: www.facebook.com/TwinPeaksUnwrappedEmail:TwinPeaksUnwrapped@gmail.comSources:“Sycamore Trees" lyrics by David Lynch, music by Angelo Badalamenti and sung by Jimmy Scott Wrapped in Plastic magazine #6

Twin Peaks Unwrapped 8: Twin Peaks Fest 2015 and Catherine E. Coulson interview | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:44:24

Bryon and Ben discuss Twin Peaks Fest 2015 with Pieter Dom, WelcometoTwinPeaks.com, Catherine E. Coulson, aka The Log Lady and Brad Dukes, author of Reflections: An Oral History of Twin Peaks.   “The Twin Peaks Festival is an annual weekend-long celebration of the early '90s TV show, Twin Peaks. On average, about 150 people from all over the world attend yearly. The festival involves celebrity guests, a film night, bus tour of filming locations, contests, and much more.” - Twinpeaksfest.com   Twitter: @TwinPeaksUnwrap Facebook: www.facebook.com/TwinPeaksUnwrapped Email:TwinPeaksUnwrapped@gmail.com TwinPeaksUnwrapped.com Sources:

 Twin Peaks Unwrapped 7: S1E5 | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:47:33

Bryon and Ben discuss Twin Peaks episode 5. “Another bewildering but entertaining chapter about the ongoing deceptions and revelations which make up the modus operandi of the quirky inhabitants of the Northwest mill town. Agent Cooper and Sheriff Truman meet with the wacky Log Lady who directs them to the woods; sexy Audrey starts working in her father’s store; Hank is released from prison.  Twin Peaks Unwrapped 6: Brad Dukes | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:42:40

Bryon and Ben talk with Brad Dukes, author of ‘Reflections: An Oral History of Twin Peaks’. “Hats off to Brad Dukes for gathering an incredible plethora of inside knowledge and translating all of that into the true story of Twin Peaks. Trust me, there's an anecdote or fact you didn't know about the show... ON EVERY PAGE. Reflections is the book I didn't know I waited 25 years for to read, and I love it like Cooper loves pie!” -welcometotwinpeaks.comReflections: An Oral History of Twin Peaksamzn.com/061596883XTwitter: @TwinPeaksBookTwitter: @TwinPeaksUnwrapFacebook:
