MY PIPPILO NAMED FRED I walked in my room. I heard a strange sound Coming from under my bed. It wasn’t a squeak. It wasn’t a growl. I think he said his name was Fred. CHORUS There’s a thing in my room. He lives under my bed. He calls himself a Pippilo. My Pippilo, he has three legs, But he only has one toe. My Pippilo He has green skin. It’s bumpy and full of scales. He has square eyes and a yellow nose, A striped and polka-dotted tail. CHORUS There’s a thing in my room. He lives under my bed. He calls himself a Pippilo. My Pippilo, he has three legs, But he only has one toe. One day I saw him in my room. He was wearing my underwear. They were on his head and not looking too good. I think I’ll buy another pair. CHORUS There’s a thing in my room. He lives under my bed. He calls himself a Pippilo. My Pippilo, he has three legs, But he only has one toe. I saw him open all my drawers. He put socks all over his face. They were on his nose and in his ears And he threw them all over the place. CHORUS There’s a thing in my room. He lives under my bed. He calls himself a Pippilo. My Pippilo, he has three legs, But he only has one toe. This Pippilo was in the bathroom He wasn’t wearing any clothes. He had three teeth and soap on his face. My toothbrush was in his nose. CHORUS There’s a thing in my room. He lives under my bed. He calls himself a Pippilo. My Pippilo, he has three legs, But he only has one toe. He can be a pain. He can make a mess. My secret friend named Fred. But he’s so much fun and he makes me laugh, He cheers me up when I feel bad. CHORUS There’s a thing in my room. He lives under my bed. He calls himself a Pippilo. My Pippilo, he has three legs, But he only has one toe.  {Did You Know?} Tips and Tricks on Flying With A Baby | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:09:24

Always be prepared! Here are some Tips for Mommy's and Daddy's on how to fly with a baby or an infant! Courtesy or our good friends over at flyingwithababy.com! Bonus: www.traveltotsuk.com | 10% off Coupon code: TTSS3316 _________________________________________________________ Be prepared: - Which airline meets your infants baggage allowance needs. - Which airline provides complimentary strollers in transit or a sky-nanny. - Request a bassinet and/or a sky cot. Make sure to ask them about their sizes, weight restrictions, and age limit. Most short-haul flights, bassinets are not provided. - The cabin crew is always there to lend you a hand _________________________________________________________ Packing: - Bring a baby carrier with you to keep your hands free. - Bring a change of clothing for your baby, also bring one for yourself. - Pack light. - Pack a few Calpol and/or Ibuprofen 5ml sachets. - Your infant’s favorite toy or comforter and snacks. - Pack extra diapers if you have extra room in your luggage allowance. - *Tip - Have a brand new toy wrapped up and given to your baby on the plane. This will keep them busy, as well as making the whole ordeal a fun experience. _________________________________________________________ Preparing Food for the trip: - Baby milk, whether pre-mixed, breast milk, or puree, can exceed the 100ml per container limit. It would be advisable to pack more than you would normally use. - Find online retailers such as Boots online to deliver necessities to the pre-selected airport collection point, prior to take-off. - Order supplies to destination. Several companies will deliver baby supplies such as diapers and milk to your destination. ie. www.traveltotsuk.com | Coupon code: TTSS3316 - On long haul flights, request a baby meal, and for those infants over two years old, a child meal will be prepared. - Bring lots of finger food snacks for the trip. _________________________________________________________ Few Other important pointers: - Allow extra time, especially if you need to pick up your pre-ordered milk from online retailers, and some last minute clothes and diaper changes. - Make time to play with the young ones, to drain excess energy, so the trip will be even more manageable. - Board Last with the baby. Your significant other can board first and stow away all of the baby gear and hand luggage, then you board with the child later, this will allow your significant other to assist you with the young one. - Take turns with your significant other on baby duties. _________________________________________________________ Avoid Meltdowns - If your child is crying and disturbing other passengers, the first step here is avoidance. If your child is slightly older, prepare a children’s book or listen to Yarn Story Factory podcast. Sometimes roleplaying in different characters can be a fun game. - If you have a late night flight, consider putting the children to bed at the normal time and waking them up just before you leave for the airport. This should give them enough energy to get through the airport without a meltdown, but still leaving them sleepy enough for the rest of the flight. - Always make use of the airports playground if there is one. This will drain that excess energy. - Be resourceful, everything on the plane can be a source of entertainment. The seatbelt, and inflight entertainment handset are especially useful in a fun roleplaying game. _________________________________________________________ In collaboration with our good friends at www.flyingwithababy.com.
