#23 - What Are Your Intentions? (No Easy Answers)
After finding out my father's wife suffered a major heart attack, like many people, I found myself asking "Why wait?" Why wait to live life to the fullest? Why wait around thinking we have all the time in the world? It takes a moment like this to remind us how quickly life can change, and how precious our time really is.
#22 - Why Wait? (No Easy Answers)
This episode is a "Chapter Cast," in which I read a chapter from my book, No Easy Answers: A Book of Life-Changing Questions. Each chapter in the book is a question that I asked myself on my journey through recovery, redemption, and reinvention. This chapter is titled, "How Did I Get Here?" In it, I talk about something I call "Taylor Swift Syndrome." You'll have to listen to the episode to find out exactly what Taylor Swift Syndrome is. Disclaimer: I have nothing against Taylor Swift. Really. I think she's an incredibly talented artist and songwriter. I very easily could have named this "syndrome" after numerous other singer/songwriters out there today. She just happened to be the one whose body of work I was familiar with when coming up with this concept. I hope any Taylor Swift fans listening to this episode will listen with open ears, open minds, and a healthy sense of humor.
