Austin not only reported on the Democratic National Convention but also discussed the Eagles, Phillies, 76ers and Flyers. In the final 10 minutes of the hourlong program, both Kelly and Austin released a pair of Major League Baseball selections.

Veteran sports bettor Bobby Beghtel joined host John Kelly to preview the upcoming football season in the Big Ten Conference. Beghtel gave Ohio State a slight edge over both Michigan and Iowa, teams Bobby felt would exceed market expectations this season. NFL handicapper Mike Scalleat and poker pro Brent Carter also contributed to the information-filled program.

Las Vegas-based sports betting pro Alan Dinkenson joined host John Kelly to preview the final two months of Major League Baseball's regular season. "Dink" zeroed in on the recent struggles of the Chicago Cubs, San Francisco Giants and Texas Rangers. He also went on record with a pair of MLB selections involving games at both Citi Field and Target Field.

Host John Kelly previewed Tuesday's interleague baseball game between the Chicago Cubs and Chicago White Sox. Kelly predicted a low-scoring game between the Windy City rivals with starting pitchers Kyle Hendricks and James Shields squaring off against one another. Kelly also reported on the Cubs' recent acquisition of former Yankee closer Aroldis Chapman.

Host John Kelly recommended a pair of Major League Baseball totals involving Saturday's full schedule of games. Kelly liked UNDER 6.5 runs at Marlins Park and UNDER 9.5 runs at Fenway Park. He also discussed the Friday night basketball action at T-Mobile Arena and the long list of unders from Friday night's slate of MLB games.

EOG contributor HEIM joined host John Kelly to discuss a variety of topics including the business practices of two leading sports book operators in Nevada, William Hill and CG Technology. HEIM also talked about Donald Trump's acceptance of the presidential nomination at the Republican National Convention at Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. HEIM in the final 10 minutes of the hourlong show laid out a trio of Major League Baseball plays.

Austin, a 1984 graduate of Iowa State University, is attending the Republican National Convention at Quicken Loans Arena on the shores of Lake Erie. Next week, Austin will travel to Philadelphia to report on the Democratic National Convention.

Handicapping champion Paul Matties joined hosts John Kelly and Alan Dinkenson to preview the upcoming summer meet at Saratoga Race Course. Opening day of the 40-day meet is set for Friday, July 22. Matties, winner of the 17th annual DRF/NTRA National Handicapping Championship, discussed some do's and dont's when playing the races.

The pair of sports enthusiasts talked about a trio of NFL topics: Tom Brady's four-game suspension, Von Miller's rich six-year contract and the prospects for the Dallas Cowboys this coming NFL season.

Host John Kelly was joined by veteran horseplayer Patrick McQuiggan to preview the opening-day card at Del Mar. The 77th summer meet opens Friday, July 15 at the seaside oval in suburban San Diego. McQuiggan, the in-house handicapper at South Point Hotel and Casino, offered a pair of documented selections in the sixth and seventh races on the 10-race card.

Host John Kelly was joined by college football handicapper Bobby Beghtel (aka Bobby the Owl) to preview the 2016 Pac-12 football season. Beghtel thought the USC Trojans would exceed expectations this season (over 7.5 wins) and felt the defending champion Stanford Cardinal would not meet their lofty expectations.
