My guests for February are Pete Klismet and John M. Wills. Pete Klismet, now retired, was a Special Agent with the FBI and a professor of Criminal Justice. We will be talking with Pete about his newest book, FBI Diary: Profiles of Evil. John M. Wills is a former Chicago police officer and retired FBI agent. He is a freelance writer and award-winning author in a variety of genres, including novels, short stories, creative non-technical, technical and poetry. Carolyn Watson Dubisch, Wade Zahares, and Mike Dubisch talk to artist/ illustrator Rose Cooper from California. Rose Cooper is an author and illustrator with Random House Publishing and represented by Rosemary Stimola of Stimola Literary Studio.  Her series,  A Blogtastic! Novel, is translated and published in over 13 countries. Gossip from the Girls Room was picked up by Scholastic Books in 2013 and now appears in the Scholastic book clubs and fairs. Dead Series, Rose's new illustrated humor series for teens, will be released in 2015 with the first book, I Text Dead People.  The ideas behind this series comes from her personal teen experiences growing up on cemetery grounds, a step-dad who was a mortician, and nearly dying of embarrassment on several occasions. Also joining us is artist Alden Cole.  Originally from Maine he studied at RISD in Providence, RI for college. Two years in the Air Force pushing papers. NYC for 11 years of fun and fashion – designer and illustrator on 7th Ave.  After his job in publishing became a nightmare he moved to Philadelphia, PA in 1986 to study metaphysics and astrology for two years. He's been there ever since. To keep the roof over his head and food in his stomach, he worked as a production artist, the non-glamorous side of advertising.   Happy New Year. My guests for January are Joseph Haggerty Sr and Larry K. and Lorna Collins.  Lorna and Larry were both on the team that built the Universal Studios Japan theme park in Osaka. Larry was a Project Engineer, responsible for the Jurassic Park, JAWS and WaterWorld attractions. Lorna was the Document Control Supervisor in the Osaka field office. Their memoir of that experience, 31 Months in Japan: The Building of a Theme Park was a 2006 EPPIE finalist.  Their cozy mysteries are, Murder They Wrote and Murder in Paradise (both finalist for the EPIC eBook Award for best mystery). Jospeh Haggery Sr. is a retired Vice Detective with DC Metropolitan Police Department. He specialized in investigating the sexual exploitation of women and children. His goal was to arrest child predators and rescue children used and abused by pimps.
