 RRW-No Limits | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:02:00

Last month I missed doing my show for a medical test.  I am so lucky to have a great co-host who filled in for me.  Tracy did a fantastic job. I always enjoy talking with my guests, but it is even a bigger treat when I've had the pleasure of meeting them in person. That is exactly the case with my two November guests, Ellen Kirschman and Bob Doerr. This year I attended the Public Safety Writers Association conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.   Ellen and Bob. where both their too. Bob grew up in a military family, graduated from the Air Force Academy, and then had a 28 year career of his own in the Air Force.  It was a life style that had him moving every few years, but also one that exposed him to the people and cultures of numerous countries around the world. In the Air Force, Bob specialized in criminal investigations and counterintelligence gaining significant insight to the worlds of crime, espionage and terrorism. His field of work involved close coordination with the investigative and security agencies of many different countries with the FBI and CIA.  Bob is now a full time author, with three mystery/thrillers already published, and a fourth to be released in the fall, 2011.   Ellen Kirschman is a clinical psychologist, consultant, and trainer with over twenty years experience working with public safety personnel, their agencies, and their families. She has written two books. "I Love a Cop: What Police Families Need to Know" and "I Love a Fire Fighter: What the Family Needs to Know" (2004). "I Love a Cop" was first published in 1997. A revised--post 9/?11, post Katrina--edition was released in 2007. It has sold more than 85,000 copies and is used worldwide in police and spousal academies. Please join me as I talk with these two fascinating people.

RRWL Tales from the Pages with Host Barbara Ehrentreu | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 02:11:00

Today on RRWL Tales from the Pages my guests are two of my favorite authors from MuseItUp Publishing. One of them Roseanne Dowell is the author of multiple books, mostly sweet romances, and Nancy Bell, author of young adult novels also from MuseItUp Publishing. Nancy was my copy editor and I am looking forward to learning more about her. Please tune in to find out more about these fascinating authors. If you read my blog you have seen both of them interviewed there. This should be a lively show!

Our next guest is Mark Thompson from Monstark Studios. Mark is the primary artist for bay area band "Nuclear Rabbit" and has a natural tendency towards drawing horrible monsters.
