Religious liberty has always been a lynchpin of American life.  A conversation with Annie Dupree | File Type: audio/mp4 | Duration: 0

Annie Dupree is the lead singer of the Annie Moses Band. The Annie Moses Band has been tough for the music industry to label. It's made up of six brothers and sisters, so it's a family band. They're all classically educated and have top-drawer playing ability, so the classical label sometimes fits. The members of the band are Christians, and often play Christian events and in churches, so some people have called them a contemporary Christian group, though they record on a secular label and almost none of their music has ever been played on Christian radio. In fact, even though they do a lot of original music, they're perhaps best known for their versions of what some call the American Songbook: Americana, jazz, and pop standards.
