So it's day one of NAtional POdcast POst MOnth and we try to kick it off right with a quick (15 min) cast.nbsp; I recorded this ahead of time and hope to have it automaticaly post while the family and I are on vacation in NJ. Hope you enjoy the tasty goodness!
I hope to be recording some things soon to kick off NaPodPoMo later this week.nbsp; I will probably have to record them ahead of time since the family and I will be in New Jersey for a few days later this week and I won't have access to my recording equipment until Sunday night.nbsp; I'm going to try really hard to have something in my feed everyday of NaPodPoMo, but we will just have to see how it goes! In the meantime, here is a video I created with my Canon HG-10 of my daughters soccer team (the Waunakee Wild) in action at a tournament in Libertyville IL a couple weeks ago.nbsp; I am going to add it as a .mp4 (ipod style) and a .flv (flash video).nbsp; Please let me know which works best for you since I will likely have more video in the feed in the future and I want to know what works best for all of you! Waunakee Wild at Libertyville Tournament ipod mp4 Waunakee Wild at Libertyville Tournament Flash Till then...Seeee ya!

...it's the next edition of the Ordinary Average Guy Podcast! In this show we: 1) Recap the listeners homework assignment 2) Talk lots of sports 3) Play some kickbutt mashups and 4) Catch up on life around OAG central All in all just another Ordinary Average Guy Podcast
So we are fully into soccer season here at OAG central with my daughter playing travel soccer and my son playing high school soccer for the freshman team.nbsp; Here is a short video showing him scoring his first goal (hint:nbsp; he is on the opposite side of the field from me) Steven scores his first high school goal This of course means that demands on my time will just get crazy for awhile. Of course one could say that time is always in demand around here, what with 4 sets of visitors coming over this past summer...or 4 family birthdays in the last 2.5 weeks.nbsp; But what it DOESN'T mean is that you will get any less OAG goodness!nbsp; In fact I have already been gathering some music for the next show and have found some great mashups to play.nbsp; But in the meantime I have some homework for all my faithful listeners.nbsp; I need to hear from as many of you as possible your feelings when it comes to music on the OAG podcast.nbsp; As anyone who knows me even a bit would know, I love music and while I have enjoyed playing mashups and podsafe music over the three and a half years I have done this show, I am getting to the point that it takes me longer and longer to find stuff that I really enjoy and want to share in that vein.nbsp; What I would really love to do is share some of the other music that I love and already have in my gigs and gigs of storage.nbsp; Yes, we are talking about mainstream rock, pop etc. which brings along it's share of legal complications.nbsp; Having said that it seems more and more podcasters both large and small play un'podsafe' music and don't seem to have any issues.nbsp; How is this and is it safe for me to do the same?nbsp; What I want to hear from you folks is: a) Do you enjoy music in the show in any form? b) Do you have a preference as to what that music is? c) Do you have any thoughts as to the whole 'podsafe' arguement? D) Would you be willing to pay my legal bills if the RIAA comes knocking?nbsp; (only kidding) Please get back to me with your thoughts and in the meantime I will be putting together the next OAG! Thanks, Bob
