Top Down Perspective

Jon is mysteriously away so Paul and Sean get together on a Saturday. Paul has been playing Hellblade and Sundered. Sean continues Pyre, finishes up with Graceful Explosion Machine, and plays through My Brother Ate My Pudding. In the news section we talk about Valve announcing Artifact, changes to Amazon's new game discount, and Swery announcing The Good Life.

Jon returns from ConBravo with stories to tell. He played some Splatoon while airborn. Sean has also been playing Squid vs. Kid, and Pyre. For the news we discuss Pokemon GO fest, what's been happening with the NES and SNES Classics, and Gamebox 2.0!

Happy Splatoon 2 Day everyone! No one has really played it yet (Sean has like 10 minutes). Sean is also playing the new mobile Layton game. Jon The Firemen and a Link to the Past randomizer. Paul is playing Get Even and Salt and Sanctuary. For news we discuss the new Nintendo Switch app, exclusive blue tire smoke, and the Ataribox images.

We start this with sharing our feelings about the new Netflix Castlevania show. Jon then talks about some Dead Rising 4 DLC while Sean brings up Death Squared.  News is short but includes production ending on the small N3DS in Japan and Nintendo filing a trademark for Check In.

We return with tales of Jon being at Otafest and the six panels he was a part of. Paul didn't do anything but enjoy his birthday. Sean has been playing Snake Pass, Monument Valley 2, Hidden Folks, and Wolfenstein the New Order. For news, we discuss a possible new Apollo Justice, the SNES Classic being announced, and more Hearthstone DLC.

Sean returns from the south this week to tell us about what he enjoyed of E3. He was also playing Fire Emblem Echoes on his trip. Jon has been doing some live stream races of various games. Paul is playing Slain, and the Wonder Boy remake. In news we discuss IO getting to keep the Hitman IP and the new Pokemon Go gym revamp.

It's everyone's favorite time of year again! That's right! A bunch of game developers and publishers get together their best stuff, show us some videos and let us talk a bunch of crap about it! E3 happened again and, while Sean is away, Nathan "Old Host" Rohr joins Paul and Jon as they discuss some of the best and worst things in E3. Oh, also, Nathan played a bunch of GoldenEye on the Nintendo 64. Sean is out of the continent and leaves the keys to Paul and Jon. Jon has been gone to Atlanta for awhile and as such has played a variety of smaller stuff such as River City: Tokyo Rumble, and Shantae & The Pirate's Curse while Paul has been playing a bunch of stuff with Nathan like Dark Souls 2 and... F. E. A. R. 3? Not a lot of news since E3 is around the corner but Steam's Greenlight is dead, Nintendo releases some new Switch online information and Life is Strange prequel is leaked!

Sean breaks his toe just in time for his backpacking trip. He's also playing Edith Finch, Overcooked, Mount Your Friends, and the Overwatch Anniversary event. Paul is playing Dark Souls 2 and Caveblazers. For news we discuss a possible Seaman 3, the Xbox Live Game Pass, and more info on Far Cry 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2.

This week Paul has mixed feeling about The Surge. Sean plays some Temple of Osiris, finishes Breath of the Wild, and jumps into Overcooked. For news we discuss the recent Nintendo Direct, the Destiny 2 gameplay reveal, and Far Cry 5 being officially confirmed.

Jon finishes Persona 5 this week! Paul needs to get back to that, but for now he's playing What Remains of Edith Finch and more Prey. Sean continues with Horizon Zero Dawn, Puyo Puyo Tetris, and starts up Advance Wars. For news we discuss Square Enix selling off IO Interactive, Alan Wake leaving stores, Project Rib Rabbit, and Twitch's Mister Rogers marathon.

We return from the Calgary Comic Expo with tales of what we purchased. Jon continues to play a ton of Persona 5. Paul is playing Gloom, PUB, and the new Prey. Sean starts up Puyo Puyo Tetris and plays through Abzu. For news we discuss the announcement of Darksiders 3, Call of Duty WW2, and Forza Horizon 3's Hotwheels mod. Along with info about the return of the Rabbids, Breath of the Wild's DLC, and Danger Zone. 

This week Sean emerges from being super sick while also playing Drawn to Death, starting Horizon Zero Dawn, and getting a Game Boy Micro. Jon continues with Persona 5. Paul is playing through the Disney Afternoon Collection. For news we have May's Games with Gold, the SNES mini being rumored, and StarCraft being updated and sold for free.

This week Jon is diving heavily into Persona 5 while Sean continues with Yooka-Laylee and checks out the new Overwatch event.  For news we discuss the recent Nintendo Direct, the NES Classic being discontinued, and Microsoft beginning Steam-style digital refunds.

This week Sean is playing through Yooka-Laylee and Kami 2. Jon continues with Super Bomberman R and River City Ransom Underground. Paul is trying to enjoy Andromeda. For news we discuss the Mass Effect patch that released, new infomation on Project Scorpio, and THQ's PlayStation Humble Bundle.
