The Subs talk about the end of The Terra Mosaic, along with the battle for which nobody clamored!
Murray, Paul and Al take a look at L.E.G.I.O.N. ’90 #16. They’ve been promising to bring some familiar DCU faces into the book, and this is the issue that it happens! Someone old, someone new and someone borrowed from what’s going to have been an alternate future who’s wearing something blue. Plus… Phase gets a haircut.
The Subs are joined by Matthew Elmslie from the Legion Abstract to discuss issue 35 of vol 4, as the Dominator War comes to an end!
Murray, Paul and Al take a look at L.E.G.I.O.N. ’90 #15. Garryn Bek has let power go to his head… or his eye. Lobo is playing with space pirates, we meet some new members of the cast and Lyrissa’s baby is all grown up.
The Subs get into issue 34 of Legion of Super Heroes Vol 4. Things go poorly for the Dominators!
Murray, Paul and Al take a look at Legion ’90 #14. Stealth and Strata go on a mission, Bek and Dox have a chat, Phase becomes more comfortable with the team, and trouble is brewing for Lyrissa. Also… space pirates!!
The Subs look into the latest issue of Legion of Super Heroes. Is the continuity shifting beneath our feet, or is there something different happening? Tune in and share your thoughts!
Murray and Al take a look at LEGION 90′ #13. It’s the first issue without Keith Giffen, and everything is kicking into high gear. Phase gets a name (hint… it’s Phase), Lobo gets a beating, Dox makes a friend and new members are teased.
The Subs are joined by artist Joe Phillips who tells us all about working on Timber Wolf, Mr Miracle, Body Doubles and more. He tells us all about working in comics during the 90s boom, and how the industry has changed since then. We also learn about his new creations I Married a Super Hero and Teen Agents! All this plus some Fandome News, a Stump the Subs, and This Week in Legion History.
Murray and Al take a look at L.E.G.I.O.N. ’90 #12 in which we say goodbye to a bunch of minor characters and Garryn Bek makes a friend, which will have disastrous consequences for the team.
The Subs look at LSH vol. 8, issue 7. After an embarrassing meeting at the United Planets, the Legion looks into installing a new leader!
Murray, Paul and Al take a look at LEGION ’90 (New title! Same book!). The team gets uniforms, Garryn makes a friend and Mr. Starr reveals his plans.
As he did with his older daughter some years ago, Paul reads Adventure 247 with his 7-year old. Hear what she thinks of the story, as Paul teaches her that Superboy stories are the Adventures of Superboy when he was a boy… or a kid, depending on who you ask.
The gang takes a look at L.E.G.I.O.N. 89 #10. It’s one big long fight scene, but in between punches, we get to see how Phantom Girl is fitting in, we get to see how Lyrissa (who reminds us that she is the Planetary Champion of Talok, in case you weren’t aware!) is dealing with admin work, and we get to see a lot of Dox… a whole lot of Dox… like, there’s not much left to the imagination of Dox.
