What is it like to be in the Olympics and have a Disney blockbuster movie about your Olympic exploits? Steven Zhou and Youngjoo Ahn interview Devon Harris, Captain of the legendary Jamaican Bobsled Team that captured the hearts of the world at the 1988 Calgary Olympics. Cool Runnings was based on the amazing story. At the heart of Devon’s message are the lessons of the power of persistence over obstacles in order to live one's best life. His mission is to bring this message of how everyone can keep on pushing and working for their dreams every day of their lives. The Keep On Pushing Foundation which he founded in 2006 aims to support and enhance the education of kids in disadvantaged communities around the globe. He is the author of the motivational children’s book, Yes, I Can! and Keep On Pushing: Hot Lesson From Cool Runnings. Health Beat Reporter, Nicole Eubanks and Book It! reporter, Courtney Cheng add their excellent technology research to the program. The judges have made their decisions and the winners of the 8th Annual National Essay Contest sponsored by US Bank are announced with the first place winning entries read by the authors. The topics this year included “The World at Your Fingertips” and “Hear me Out!”. The first place winners are Pamela Lewis from New York and Dana Allen from California! Tune in to hear their essays read and meet these lovely ladies. Second place went to Carl David with Honorable Mention awared to Elizabeth Mroz and Miss Mary Sue Wickham. Congrats

He recruits young people to teach conversational English in eleven countries.New field reporter, Mason Windatt, shares his segment On the Ball to talk about how sport teams travel. Health Beat reporter Nicole Eubanks gives us the six top reasons that teens should travel, and Rachel Glass reports on Making a Difference in the world through experiencing other cultures and being an ambassador of peace. Henry came to Boston from Hong Kong for high school via Europe at 16. He attended Stanford University for his undergraduate and UCLA for his MBA.
