Give That Some Thought

Addison and Matt head directly back to episode 1 for this episode. It's total amateur hour. We tell a few side affects to Addison's listening of Kanye's new album, and then launch into a story about an adventure that Matt and Addison had, and Addison tells a story about Matt being a total dick. Matt can't say "condescending" when he's drunk, there's some discussion about Jesus and his relationship with the law, and Matt breaks down the Panama papers leaks for us.

That's right, this is episode 100 ladies and gentlemen. Addison and Matt reminisce over the last 100 episodes of GTST. They talk about where they've recorded the episodes at, and how things have changed, and they discuss what it's like to change over a period of three years. We discuss our original segment "OP is a fagget" and listen to a bit of Louis CK. Then Matt hijacks the show with his metaphysical nonsense. Matt explains the global war machine, and where it's going to move in the next ten years, there's a rant about gender, then there's a rousing game of FoxNews vs. Infowars. To top it off there's a story about Joel Osteen making up bible verses.

Addison gripes about bladders at work for a few minutes, and he also talks about his favorite part of the show. Addison talks about his weekend and the wedding he was in, and grills Matt about his (former) alcoholism. Matt breaks down once again the election cycle.

There's some non-spoiler discussion about House of Cards season 4, and why it might be the best season yet. That serves as a segue into Super Tuesday, and Matt provides a breakdown of where each one of the candidates stand in his opinion. Addison and Matt discuss education systems, and the United States Government's budget.

We begin the show by discussing Addison's sickness and DxM. There's some brief discussion about The Life of Pablo, and a discussion of the metaphysical in within reality. We discuss the civil lawsuit against Ferguson, MO and the revenue that comes from speed traps. There's some discussion about our supreme overlord the Unstumpable, and the idea of nationalism and the American border as it applies to refugees and cultural Marxism. We discuss Apple's defiance of the FBI's court order to build special software for the iPhone to assists the San Bernardino shooter case. Addison pontificates on social media and we play the conceding speech of Jeb! Bush from the race of Presidential candidate. To top it off, there's a discussion of circumcision. (you read that right)

First off some news in the podcast world with Stitcher having been down. After that, it's all about music. Matt and Addison take the listener down a wild musical road that begins with Matt explaining Bluegrass to Addison, and playing some examples of such. We discuss Kanye, and what he attempts to say with his music. We also discuss some other artists and songs and then we discuss our Christian music pasts and share some stories about experiences with music. We also discuss children's television shows, Addison talks about what it's like to be a dad, and Matt explains the SNL performance of Kanye West.

Addison and Matt kick off this second edition of Rum Cast with Sailor Jerry's and by talking about "the big game" on Sunday. Addison talks about the birth of his brand new daughter, and what labor and delivery was like. There's a quick story about women and Starbucks in Saudi Arabia, and some discussion about Bernie Sanders and Donald Trump and why so many young people back these candidates. After an intermission to refill the Sailor Jerry's, there's a special guest that shows up, a Politico story, and a Doritos ad.

Addison kicks off the show by informing Matt and listeners the purpose of the Iowa Caucus, and there's some discussion about what purpose this serves, and Matt tells about Hillary Clinton's childhood. There's some discussion about getting behind candidates that "check all the boxes" for their constituents and Ted Cruz's Jesus campaign. We also talk about Louis CK's new project Horace and Pete. Addison gives a personal update, and discusses his sleep cycles. To top it off, Matt breaks down the election cycle. Finally we read a review that came in, discuss legal pot sales numbers from 2015, and discuss Bill Clinton's demeanor on the night of the caucus.

We kick it off with some conversation about our favorite TV shows and what we've been watching lately, then we get really serious talking about human behavioral patterns and the psychology behind trauma recreation. Matt breaks down the David Bowie/Blackstar/Kanye West conspiracy. There's discussion about stumping the Trump, and also some biblical discussion about bureaucracy. Matt also breaks down the Flint Michigan water crisis.

This is in fact a terrible episode. There's no continuity, no story, no cohesive thought. BUT there is a Katy Perry Interview, Barrack Obama cries, and there's a dancing lion. There's also some talk about fetishes, internet fame, a LOT of quotes from Creed Bratton, and of course some discussion about magic. We also listen to Kanye West's new song, and talked about Hillary Clinton briefly.

There's a lot of discussion about gun laws in America, and Obama's latest push for reform. Matt explains what the problem is in America. Addison then asks Matt to clearly explain exactly what's happening in Oregon. (has nothing to do with Oregon Trail, sadly) Matt explains what he would take a bullet for, (it's probably what you think) and we take a trip down the intellectual path of Walt Disney's affect on American culture thanks to a hypothetical Addison poses to Matt. There's another round of Foxnews vs. Infowars and to top it off, Matt breaks down #FeelTheBern.

There's discussion about seeing family around Christmas and all the emotion that brings with it. Matt tells the story of the "Affluenza Teen" to Addison and they talk about family in general and what it's like to raise kids versus adults. There's more talk about Christmas, and Addison shares the most beautiful moment of 2015. There's a bit of reminiscing and discussion about the past 90 (!) episodes of GTST. Then Matt explains Erin the Esurance girl and her sordid history and that leads into a conversation about porn, sex, and pedophilia.
