IRIS Global Video | Rolland & Heidi Baker
Summary: Iris Global is a Christian NGO committed to expressing a living and tangible response to those commandments that Jesus called greatest: "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength," and "Love your neighbor as yourself." Iris Global exists to participate in bringing the Kingdom of God to earth in all its aspects, but most especially through our particular calling to serve the very poor: the destitute, the lost, the broken and the forgotten. We proclaim Jesus. He is our salvation, our prize, our reward, our inheritance, our destination, our motivation, our joy, wisdom and sanctification. All His grace and power flow to us through the Cross and no other way. We do not expect fruitfulness to come out of anything but intimacy with Him. We pray that you would encounter Jesus in a powerful way. Enjoy Jesus with us.

This brief video contains an overview of the flooding in Mozambique and Malawi that has left many without food and shelter. So far, our missionaries have been able to deliver 22 metric-tons of food and supplies to some of the hardest hit areas. We have witnessed many respond to the message of hope in Jesus, humbly opening their hearts to him. Join us for a glimpse of the damage and the outreaches and then hear the personal testimony of Fatima, a woman who nearly lost her home in the floods.
Join Heidi and team as Salvation comes to Mecufi Village.
Join Heidi and the well drilling crew as they drill for fresh water in Mozambique.
Join us on another village outreach!
Open your heart and mind to the love of Jesus and His adoptive nature in this beautiful glimpse of life at the Baker's home in Pemba, Mozambique. As previously orphaned boys run and play in the security that only true love can provide, our hearts join them in crying out, "Abba Father." Thank you for helping the Iris Global family adopt over 10,000 orphaned and abandoned children! Jesus said, "I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you" (John 14:18, NIV).
For over a week now, devastating floods caused by torrential rains have wrecked havoc in Malawi and Northern Mozambique. BBC news reported that some areas were deluged with a month’s worth of rain in 24 hours. Many lives were lost and over 200,000 people were displaced by floods. The Malawi authority started coordinating helicopter and boat relief efforts with local rescue non-profit organizations including our IRIS Malawi base. Mozambique’s national bridges and power infrastructure were washed away, leaving the northern third of the country without power and short of much needed supplies. Our base in IRIS Malawi is coordinating great efforts by boat to reach those stranded by the floods and are providing food, supplies and relief, thanks to your support. IRIS Relief plans to send pilots with our IRIS plane to fly into places unreachable by the floods with much needed relief and supplies. We plan to fly in this mid-Feb to join relief efforts in Malawi and Mozambique.
We wish you a Merry Christmas and happy New Year! Thank you for pouring your love, making it possible to feed the hungry, care for the orphans and widows and see the Kingdom of God expand across the nations. We have had such an awesome year. It has been a wild roller coaster. This year has had more packed in it than 10 years. A new library and science labs have been constructed with over 3500 students using them, hundreds of churches have been planted, missionary teams have been sent to 20 different places around the world, and laid down lovers came together to serve the body from the great needs that occurred due to massive flooding. Most of all we have served and worshipped Jesus. Jesus is our salvation, our prize, our reward, our inheritance, our destination, our motivation, our joy, wisdom and sanctification. We see God in 2015 restoring families and coming together to worship and share joy with one another. Psalm 68 says, "Sing to God, sing in praise of his name, extol him who rides on the clouds; rejoice before him—his name is the Lord. A father to the fatherless, a defender of widows, is God in his holy dwelling. God sets the lonely in families, he leads out the prisoners with singing". All the Iris bases send their peace, love, joy and hope to you in celebration of our Savior’s birth. King Jesus reigns in our hearts. Emmanuel lives and abides in us. We pray that you would carry joy and mercy, see yourself like Daddy God sees you, go for God, and walk in in the light of his glory love. You are beautiful and wonderfully made! Be blessed and be loved. May miracles abound in your families. We love you! Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Mercy ministry and Iris Arts are paving the way for abandoned women and single mothers to rise up out of despair and poverty. Through Mercy, mamas are fed and sheltered and taught valuable skills as they work here on our Pemba base. Widows have homes built for them, household necessities given to them, and bundles of rice and beans provided for them on a bi-weekly basis. Worship and prayer along with craft-making and painting are part of the daily routine that benefits over 120 women employed in the Iris Arts program. Your love is making such a difference here. Thank you so much!
Heidi and the team travel to a remote village on the Iris Compassion, and God shows his faithfulness in the face of the wind and the waves. They are joined this time by Don Finto and Tod McDowell of Caleb Company and Marci Fish of Convergence Church on a boat outreach to remember!
You're invited to meet some of our beautiful Iris daughters and the amazing staff that works with them at the Pemba Children's Center. These young women know their identity as princesses of the King and have such hope and excitement for the future. Listen as they share some of their dreams in God and watch as the Lord begins to make these dreams a reality!
