Fantastic Neighborhood 76: Jon was not alone | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:13:38

Apparently Jon did not leave the show quite as much as we thought, but he really needed an outlet to talk about the games he played this week, including Saints Row IV and Dragon's Crown. Fred recaps his Gencon trip and they both go to see The World's End. There are also several Dubstep emergencies. Gameclub this week was the absolute fantastic puzzle platformer Thomas was Alone. We get all choked up about these blocks. This is a big recommend if you have not played it yet.  Fantastic Neighborhood 74: Groking a Shmup | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 38:37

Those are sorta real words. Remember guys, its not the length of the podcast that matters, it's the girth. And this one is girthy.... with awesome. On this episode Fred is only 4 months late to Bioshock Infinite, but remember, late to one mans game is early for its DLC. Fred also gets his streetpass on in a big way with four (three) new streetpass games on 3DS. In gameclub, Fred talks about the finer points of the apocalypse and zombies. No it's not the walking dead, this week we played Deadlight! As always, you can reach us at letters@fantasticneighborhood.com, or by calling 720.HOODIE.6 (720.466.3436).  Fantastic Neighborhood 73: At the movies | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:27:00

In case you didn't know, we love movies here at Fantastic Neighborhood. Which is why it is so strange that we would watch so many bad ones. Since the last time we met we have seen Pacific Rim, Man of Steel, Battleship, and Pitch Perfect  (seriously.) Gaming this week includes Hawken and Duel of the Planeswalkers 2013, and the usual smattering of nonsense. In gameclub, Jon is back and we are ready to talk about The Walking dead: 400 Days. We play the hell out of this game, straight up good times and spoliers! As always, you can reach us at letters@fantasticneighborhood.com, or by calling 720.HOODIE.6 (720.466.3436).  Fantastic Neighborhood: Special Preview | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 3:55

So to explain this episode, I leave it to my man Jeff: Yep. So we do not have a full episode this week. There will be some articles up before the next full show so hopefully that will tide you over, but in additon to that, here is a preview clip of a new segment we have been working on!

 Fantastic Neighborhood 71: I’m so lonely | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 43:41

It's me. Fred. Here hosting the show by myself. The only one. You probably just thought to yourself "oh boy, that could get weird." You are correct to think that. On this episode we play Electronic Super Joy, some new levels in Rayman Jungle Run, and a bunch of new games on OUYA including You don't know Jack, Deep Dungeons of Doom, and One Tap Hero. We launch a new let's play segment, where Fred does a live play through of a game he wouldn't normally expose himself. On game club, we play The Ball and talk about the finer points of ancient Aztec ball rolling. Lastly in the outro, we do some Q&A with the community, and hear from an old dear friend.  Fantastic Neighborhood 70: Jon Anderson, Hero | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 50:09

The modern day renaissance man Jon "Spit Thumbs" Anderson. Born to a family of feral bobcats, at the age of 8 Jon escaped to the big city and start his gaming career. Jon managed to enlighten and entertain us all with his rapier wit, stunning fashion sense, and his knowledge on the art of the video game. Since his departure is now official, we look back and remember some of the fondest moments we shared together. As always, you can reach us at letters@fantasticneighborhood.com, or by calling 720.HOODIE.6 (720.466.3436). Follow Fred, Jon, & the show on Twitter, and like us on Facebook.  Fantastic Neighborhood 69: Jon Voyage | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:19:20

Don't Cry. We promised ourselves we wouldn't cry. This is Jon's last full episode of the show. He is setting out from the shores of NYC, setting out on just another path, one that we all must take. The grey rain-curtain of this world rolls back, and all turns to silver glass, and then you see it. White shores, and beyond, a far green country under a swift sunrise. But before he goes we get in one last episode. We talk about Fred's new Ouya and what it needs to do to survive, some movies Jon watched, and there was something else happening too, what was it? Oh yea. E3. E3 is happening and we talk about some of the all new titles we saw, what we want, what disappointed, and more. In game club we forget to tell everyone that there are some spoilers, and then we spoil the hell out of the end of the game. Lastly we wax philosophically about the past 69+ episodes we have done, the friends we have made, and more. As always, you can reach us at letters@fantasticneighborhood.com, or by calling 720.HOODIE.6 (720.466.3436). Follow Fred, Jon, & the show on Twitter, and like us on Facebook.  Fantastic Neighborhood 68: Tigon vs. Liger | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:24:02

We know that Vin Diesel week was last week, though it seems to have stayed with us a bit. In this emotionally charged episode, Jon has some very important news. In Consumption junction we talk about Fast 6 on iOs, Project X Zone, Star Trek: Into Darkness, Shitty pop being the new punk rock, New York Radio stations, and much much more. We kinda go places. In Hype Banana cluster, we talk about some upcoming titles, some of which may have Dubstep guns in them, and some tragic news of an untimely gaming related death. Finally gameclub sees us return to Butcher bay, only to try to escape once more.  Fantastic Neighborhood 67: The Finer Points of Fast & Furious Continuity | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 57:11

Welcome to Vin Diesel week here in the hood. Now you may be asking yourself, what does Vin Diesel have to do with video games? Don't ask questions, we're here to race. Besides being the principle owner of Tigon Studios and starring in a ton of games, he doesn't have much more to do with them, but his bald majesty is still our focus this week. We launch right into Consumption Junction this week with the "Films Du Vin" ©, an emotional exploration of the film career of the post-modern action savant, including such memorable silver screen gems as The Chronicles of Riddick, Fast and Furious 6, The Fast and the Furious, and Fast and Furious: Tokyo Drift (Still trying to get the order right). Jon tries every Fast and Furious game he can find, including Fast and Furious: Showdown for Wii U. In Game Club, we try to imbibe the very digital essence of Vin in the first third of The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Ba:, a raucous joyride through one of the universe's most notorious "slams." We dissect the game and its commentary on the prison state. We end the show with some questions about Vin to our resident Vin expert, or Vinspert as we like to call him. As always, you can reach us at letters@fantasticneighborhood.com, or by calling 720.HOODIE.6 (720.466.3436). Follow Fred, Jon, & the show on Twitter, and like us on Facebook. If you'd prefer to get us on Tumblr, we are there. Subscribe and rate us on iTunes. All the music this week is from various Fast and Furious soundtracks.  Fantastic Neighborhood 66: Xbox One Versus One Hundred | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 1:46:23

You know this episode is all Xbox One. It had to be. We get a very special call from some very special time travelers who had/have/will have some predictions about the console. Is it always on? Is there a bald explosion? We'll answer these questions and more when we open our "sealed envelope" predictions and face palm with how wrong we are/were/will be. Shit. Time travel is confusing. Besides that, we wrap up the Duke Nukem Forever Game Club. Thank goodness. Next week's Game Club will be the first third of The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay. As always, you can reach us at letters@fantasticneighborhood.com, or by calling 720.HOODIE.6 (720.466.3436). Follow Fred, Jon, & the show on Twitter, and like us on Facebook.
