What are some famous battle cries in history, literature, cinema? St. Paul offers us a battle cry for life: remember Jesus Christ.

St. Paul exhorts us to stop making excuses. We can build our alibi or we get busy finding solutions to allow the kingdom to be built in and through us. Do we look to blame or do we look to build.

Today we remember the live and legacy of St. Teresa of Avila, doctor of the church. Her wisdom and insight continue to amaze and guide. We also hear Jesus' answer to how to be clean: give alms. Can it be that simple. Mother Teresa says the closer we draw to God the simpler life becomes.

What are some famous battle cried in cinema, literature, in history? Battle cries are meant to inspire and motivate and to get us moving. St. Paul offers us a battle cry for the journey.

Do we censor our words? Are we afraid to push our beliefs on to others? Do we wear a muzzle? How do we evangelize? "Whoever is not with me is against me; whoever does not gather with me scatters" Jesus speaks out for all to hear.

Is there a line between right and wrong? Or is it all blurred into some shade of gray? Has it all become extinct or can we by our life rediscover the distinction the prophet Malachi is proclaiming?
