Radio Enso #64 with Staci Boden of Dancing Tree Consulting | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:01:00

Join me Monday, December 10th at 6 p.m. Pacific/9 Eastern on Radio Enso. My guest will be San Francisco-based author, healing practitioner, and energy worker Staci Boden of Dancing Tree Consulting. Staci is the author of Turning Dead Ends Into Doorways: How to Grow Through Whatever Life Throws Your Way and helps people navigate daily life with Practical Spirituality.   About: Staci Boden is a San Francisco-based writer, healing practitioner, and energy worker. She sees private clients as well as leads personal and spiritual development workshops in energy work, sacred dance, breathwork, and guided visualization to help people learn how to navigate life.   As a feisty teenager, Staci didn’t buy the you-can-create-your-own reality interpretation of how her legally blind mother should heal her eyes. Instead, she has devoted her life to developing aPractical Spirituality approach to living with meaning in the face of the unpredictability of life. Practical Spirituality teaches people how to navigate the unknowns in daily life while weaning them from the illusion that we can control outcomes.   She holds a Master’s degree in Women’s Spirituality from the California Institute of Integral Studies and is a certified doula (birthing facilitator).   For more about Staci and her work, visit http://www.dancing-tree.com.

Radio Enso #59 with writer & creativity coach Cynthia Morris | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:01:00

Join me Monday, November 5th at 6 p.m. Pacific/9 Eastern on Radio Enso. My guest will be writing coach, author, and speaker Cynthia Morris of Original Impulse.   About Cynthia: I’ve tried and tested every single technique I bring to my clients, most notably in my travels as a creative nomad in Europe from 2008-2009, but also in the hundreds of articles I’ve written, the e-books I’ve developed, and the novel that I didn’t allow to simply be an idea that I’d work on “one day”.    I love keeping illustrated journals and playing with video to produce Juju Infusion, my video show on writing and creativity. Writing is my lifelong passion; I am a published author and have received multiple awards and recognitions for my work, including first prize in the Funds for Writers “They Actually Paid Me to Write” contest in 2005, the Le Central award for funniest essay in 2003, and a cultural grant from the Alliance Française to do research for my novel Chasing Sylvia Beach.   I earned my coaching certification from the esteemed Coaches Training Institute in San Rafael, CA in 2001. I currently coach and lead creativity and writing workshops in Denver, Boulder, and all over Europe.   When I’m not in my Denver office, I’m riding my bicycle, practicing yoga, frolicking in the park, whipping up a feast in the kitchen, snuggled up reading a book or popping over to Europe for more juju.   For more about Cynthia and her work, visit http://www.originalimpulse.com/.

Radio Enso #58 with Jeff Goins of Goins, Writer | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:01:00

Join me Monday, October 29th at 6 p.m. Pacific/9 Eastern on Radio Enso. My guest will be writer, speaker, creative coach, consultant, and “Difference Maker” Jeff Goins from Goins, Writer for the first of two weeks dedicated to writing and creativity.   About Goins, Writer: I love compelling stories, worthy causes, and Pez candy. I’ve been writing for most of my life, but only recently started calling myself a writer and actually believing it. I started my blog in 2010 with some burning questions:   • How do successful writers make a living? • What does it really take to get published? • When is it okay to pursue a passion? • Why do writers write?   What I found in this search was a community of like-minded individuals sharing many of the same struggles. Here is where we wage war on the blank page, where we band together to find purpose in our art and lives.   About Jeff: Originally from Chicago, I moved to Nashville after graduating from college and spending a year traveling with a band. In college, I studied Spanish and Religion and spent part of my Junior year in Spain, which unlocked a passion for travel, humanitarianism, and other cultures. But even with a restless heart, I’ve found a home. I live with my wife Ashley, our son Aiden, and our dog Lyric just outside of Nashville.    During the day, I’m the Communications Director for Adventures in Missions, a nonprofit organization. In my free time, I write books and try to take over the Internet.   For more about Jeff and his work, visit http://goinswriter.com.

Radio Enso #57 with Srinivas Rao of Blogcast FM | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:01:00

Join me Monday, October 22nd at 6 p.m. Pacific/9 Eastern on Radio Enso. My guest will be Srinivas Rao, the host and co-founder of BLOGCAST FM, publisher of The Skool of Life, and connector of amazing people and interesting ideas.   About BLOGCAST FM: Founder/host Srinivas Rao has been a 2-time speaker at Blogworld Expo and was listed on Problogger’s annual list of 40 Bloggers to Watch in 2011. In April 2009, I completed my MBA at Pepperdine University. After two degrees, 10 years of work experience, and a series of failed relationships I never felt more unprepared for life. A few weeks later my bank balance literally hit zero and I moved back to my parents house.   It seemed like I was right back where I started at the age of 18 when I went off to UC-Berkeley for my first degree. That summer I became obsessed with surfing because I needed a way to escape how bad my life had become. That was the start of an incredible journey of riding waves, building a media empire, and sharing my ideas with the world. I became a student of The Skool of Life.

Radio Enso #56 with Steve Kamb of Nerd Fitness | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:02:00

Join me Monday, October 15th at 6 p.m. Pacific/9 Eastern on Radio Enso. My guest will be blogger and personal trainer Steve Kamb of Nerd Fitness, dedicated to helping you lose weight, get stronger, and live better. “I help desk jockeys, nerds, and average Joes level up their lives.”   About: I started exercising back in high school without really knowing what I was doing.  Through high school and college, I made every training mistake known to man and got zero results. It wasn’t until I graduated college and learned the right way to train that I started to see positive changes.   So, I figured if I needed six years of mistakes to find success, there had to be thousands of others who were struggling to see positive change as well, whether it was weight loss or muscle gain.  On top of that, if I had been intimidated by gyms, a complete newbie in the kitchen, and completely overwhelmed by too much conflicting and confusing information, there had to be others who were paralyzed by these same thoughts….and I wanted to help.   I’m a nerd, I like fitness…so why not combine the two and turn life into one giant video game? And thus, in the fall of 2009, NerdFitness.com was born!   The overarching theme of Nerd Fitness is to “level up your life, every single day.”Focus on getting stronger, getting faster, having fun, and eating right…and your appearance will start to change as a result of that.    For more about Steve and Nerd Fitness, visit http://www.nerdfitness.com/blog/.

Radio Enso Past Favorites with Chantelle Baxter | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:04:00

Join me Monday, October 8th at 6 p.m. PDT/9EDT for a Radio Enso Past Favorites chat with Chantelle Baxter, the co-founder of One Girl, a non-profit that helps empower girls and women in Sierra Leone. This great conversation was taped last October, but we'll also get a brand NEW update from Chantelle on what's happened with One Girl since that time!   About One Girl: "We focus on empowering women and girls so that they can create and lead change in their communities. We believe that education and economic empowerment are vital when it comes to tackling the issues that women and girls face in Sierra Leone. We currently have two projects we’re working on, Back to School Scholarships and LaunchPad.    Our Back to School scholarships provide a girl with everything she needs to attend school. Her school fees will be paid in full, plus she’ll receive a school uniform, school books and stationary. We also include a medical contingency in case she gets sick! All this is provided for just $20 a month. LaunchPad: A majority of women in Sierra Leone don’t have a hygienic way of managing their period. LaunchPad is a social enterprise that sells low cost, eco-friendly sanitary pads to women and girls there. Educating a girl has a multiplier effect. Invest in a girl, and she’ll do the rest. Our mission: We want to provide 600 education scholarships to girls in Sierra Leone by 2014. We’re also aiming to train 55 LaunchPad Champions to sell affordable eco-friendly sanitary pads.”    For more about One Girl, visit http://www.onegirl.org.au/.

Radio Enso Past Favorites with Tara Gentile | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:01:00

Join me Monday, October 1st at 6 p.m. Pacific/9 Eastern for a Radio Enso Past Favorites episode. My guest in this GREAT episode recorded earlier in 2012 is Tara Gentile, the Official Ambassador of the You Economy, who talks about empowering passionate people to produce and profit and why it all matters!   About Tara: "I'm Tara Gentile and I'm on a quest to redefine commerce as the creation and distribution of meaning, relationship, and experience. And I’m more-than-okay making money doing it. I am in business to change business.   Business should reflect what we value in life. What we treasure and hold most dear. I am challenging the assumptions we hold around work/life balance, the starving artist mythos, and true personal success to create a new paradigm for the 21st century & beyond.   We’re living & working in a new age. Fewer boundaries. More meaning. Unprecedented access.   • How do we use this extraordinary period of history to make the world and its economic engines what we want them to be?   • How do we determine our own wealth?   My work: I work with passion-driven entrepreneurs to actualize their ideas, visions, and dreams – turning them into dollars and cents. I bring creative planning to branding, product development, and marketing that incorporates both strategy and high-touch design. Through collaborative coaching, my clients and I work towards mutual success."   For more about Tara, visit http://www.taragentile.com/.

Radio Enso Episode #53 with Tia Singh | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 01:00:00

Join me Monday, September 10th at 6 p.m. Pacific/9 Eastern on Radio Enso. My guest will be Tia Singh, a life coach and writer who helps multi-passionate people with shiny object syndrome get clear on what they want, find a career or start a business they’re passionate about and live a life that ROCKS. About Tia: From the moment I bounced into this bright, bounteous world, all I’ve ever-ever wanted was FREEDOM. The freedom to play when I want, and work when I choose. The freedom to quit, and restart, and rewind. The freedom to sell all my furniture, pack up my laptop + my favorite pair of jeans, and plant myself in a new country.   The freedom to do what inspires me. To live my life, MY way.   Which doesn’t mean that my life is one long disco-till-dawn dance party. All the time.   I’ve struggled with bouts of life-draining depression + paralyzing pessimism for a lot of my early adult-ish life. As a teenager, I even got tangled in some seriously unpleasant suicidal thoughts. I had to FIGHT to stay uplifted, confident and inspired.   These days, I am a full-time, globe-trotting, freedom-seeking Inner Sparkle activator. Which is a fancy-schmancy way of saying: I use my own life experiences, hard-won business knowledge + life coaching superpowers to help people (like YOU!) dream bigger, demand better — and make braver choices.   Even when — especially when — life feels less than sparkle-tastic. Because that’s when we need our dreams, most of all.   For more about Tia, visit http://www.yourlifeyourway.net/.
