She is the CEO of Tess Vigeland Productions, a Los Angeles-based multi-media company. Until November 2012, Vigeland was the host of Marketplace Money, a weekly personal finance program that looks at why we do what we do with our money.

Join us as we chat with musician Steve Schalchlin. I bet you have never heard of Steve? That's okay, neither did we, until Steve brought down the house at the World Domination Summit in Portland in July 2013.  Steve is a composer, lyricist, singer and pianist. Micia is going to be performing in the 2013 Sacramento Comedy Festival!  Micia and Jackie went to High School together in Brooklyn, New York. Micia splits her time between NYC and Oakland, CA and she's been a much sought-after Powder Keg guest.

Today's show will be massively exciting on several fronts. For one, it's our 100th episode. Nearly two years after we decided to finally execute on our idea of hosting a show together, well, we haven't killed one another (or anyone else) and we are still lighting the keg week after week.  We have a very special guest on the show today (making this a "very special episode", Mike Rohde of Rohdesign. Mike is the brains behind "Sketchnoting". He even wrote a book about it. You may recognize Mike's work from the 37 Signals book Rework--he did the illustrations.  I met Mike at the World Domination Summit in Portland back in July. We bonded over an Elk Burger.
