George Follmer won in every type of racing that he ever ran in. Today we have George on the line talking with host Alan Taylor and Ed Justice Jr. about the book and what his favorite type of racing was.

Ed Justice Jr. talks about the International Race of Champions (IROC) series and how George did back in 1974 and 1975. Then George talks about what races he watches these days and his thoughts on Jimmy Johnson and Chad Knaus.

Professor Bodie Stroud and his crew recently did a build for Tim Allen. Bodie talks about Tim’s 1968 Camaro and the type of relationship he has built with Tim. Also, Bodie talks about how working on his first ever car showed his passion for working on cars.

Alan Taylor tells us a story about an early car painting experience so Bodie Stroud tells us how he keeps his painting crew safe. Also, Alan and Bodie explain the importance of wearing a mask and goggles when painting.

Earlier in the show, Alan Taylor and Bodie Stroud began talking about Tim Allen’s 1968 Camaro build. Now Bodie gives us more detail on what they did to the car, what Tim wanted, and what obstacles they went through during the build.

Cars are built in layers, and it’s important to keep track of which layer you’re on in order to avoid mistakes. Bodie Stroud fills us in on how missing a layer can come back to bite you. Then Alan Taylor tells a story about how he ended up painting a Lamborghini Miura S at age 19.

In addition to working on Tim Allen’s 1968 Camaro, Bodie Stroud also had the opportunity to work on Johnny Depp’s 1951 Mercury. Bodie tells us the story of working on the car and how it needed to be repaired before they could do what was asked of them.
