The fans of New York were another story, and these two grizzled competitors helped drive their teams to World Series championships. Their stories, told by authors Marty Appel (MUNSON: The Life and Death of a Yankee Captain) and Judith Testa (SAL MAGLIE: Baseball's Demon Barber) will join Mark Healey on Baseball Digest LIVE to talk about their award-winning books. Also joining the show will be former big league pitcher Dick Drago, who pitched in the majors from 1969-1981 with the Royals, Red Sox, Orioles, Angels and Mariners. Baseball Digest LIVE's Executive Producer and Fantasy Editor Jay Ferraro will also be on hand, discussing the Baseball Digest Fantasy Baseball leagues, as well as promoting the debut of his new show, the re-launch of "Gotham Baseball LIVE"!

Host Mark Healey will interview Robert Murphy, author of "After Many A Summer", which is an incredibly comprehensive look at the cause/effect of the New York Giants and Brooklyn Dodgers' move to the West Coast. Also joining the program will be former MLB pitcher Jason Simontacchi, who will share his experience of pitching in the Caribbean Series for Venezuela. Dan Loney, the former voice of the Double-A Trenton Thunder will be on as well, beginning his season-long Prospect Watch, and Baseball Digest LIVE Executive Producer Jay Ferraro (who also serves as the Fantasy Baseball Insider for Baseball Digest), will recap the Baseball Digest LIVE Mock Draft

Another solid show in store this week, as Exec Producer Jay Ferraro has filled out another great lineup for the Baseball Digest LIVE listeners; BDL host Mark Healey will interview Cincinnati Reds' infielder Aaron Miles, who will talk about his new team, while former Rays infielder Damian Rolls will discuss his new role as hitting instructor for the Kansas City T-Bones of the Northern League, as well as reflect on his MLB career. Also joining the show will be Metsblog's Matt Cerrone, who will discuss the Mets and the growing influence of social media in the sports world. Finally, MLB.com's Corey Schwartz will share his expertise with the aforementioned Mr. Ferraro.

"Baseball Digest LIVE" celebrates its one-year anniversary in style, as host Mark Healey will interview Corey Schwartz, the Director Of Statistics for MLB.com, who will discuss the new partnership between MLB and Bloomberg Sports; Former big league catcher turned author Brent Mayne, who will talk about his book "The Art of Catching" as well as share his thoughts on the state of backstopping in the majors. Batting cleanup, Bob Kuenster, Managing Editor of Baseball Digest, who will talk about the new format of the 68-year old magazine.

Also, Nellie King will discuss his thirty-year career as a pitcher and broadcaster as detailed in his book, "HAPPINESS IS LIKE A CUR DOG"; NYU Professor Wayne McDonnell will share his thoughts on the business of baseball and finally, in the cleanup spot, Indians pitcher Jason Grilli will join the show to talk about Perfect Pitch Marketings, his efforts on behalf of the children's book "A Glove Of Their Own" and his amazing journey through MLB.
