American Pro Flattrack in Atlanta. Supercross is in soupy soggy Seattle. Plessinger makes a Splash. MotoGP in Argentina can be it’s own stand alone show today!

No racing this week, but Phil does some benching racing and thoughts as we enter into Round 2 of Flattrack, MotoGp and the post break Supercross Season.

The Rumormill is running strong right now! MotoGP Rumors, BSB News and WSBK Rumors!!! WSBK hits Thailand, What is going on with everyone there? How are the Americans doing? Supercross is in Indy, First East West Showdown in the 250’s and an almost Carmichaelesque performance in the 450’s!

WOW…. where do we start…. MOTOGP, Moto2, Flat Track, Daytona 200, Drag Racing, Supercross!!!!! Hector Arana Jr becomes the 1st to break 200MPH on the Pro Stock Motorcycle tour. Two red plates going into the 250 Supercross final, but only one comes out!  Phil was cheering Austin Forkner to get into a fight….WHAAAA? Eli Tomac dominated the night but it is still Jason Anderson’s Championship to lose!  What is going on with Money Marvin Musquin?   OH, and Phil has a tweet liked by the GOAT! Flat Track kicks off the season with the Daytona TT!  LOTS of great racing with a bunch of MotoAmerica and wild card racers doing well.  Wonder if Phil still wants to punch JD “Jiggy Dogg” Beach?  JD finished 2nd in the twins! Oh and then there was MotoGP…. Moto2 was uneventful really but the finish of premier race was AWESOME.  Dovi and Marquez fighting into the last turn and…. tune in to hear!

A few weeks ago Phil wanted to punch JD “Jiggy Dog” in the face.  To day he is much happier, now that JD is going to race at a couple different Flat Track stops!  Speaking of Flat Track maybe our discussion of Alta and Harley last week has inspired someone…. Looks like Alta/Harley(?) might be putting a bike into Supercross soon!  Singing “I always feel like somebody’s watching meeeeeeeeeeeeee” OH and  American Flat Track starts it’s season at Daytona this Thursday! We talk some MotoGP because MotoGP starts their season at Qatar this weekend!  We discuss how the pool is set up and how Moto2 is wide open for someone new to jump up. Supercross raced in Daytona with a first time winner in the 450s! Can Marvin Musquin get a break?  Eli Tomac is looking awesome… but to little to late it looks like.

Harley invests in an electric motorcycle company. Phil has a genius idea. Tech 3 will be heading to KTM. Warren called it. Supercross commits a superblunder.

Supercross returns to Tampa and there was some fun racing in both 250 and 450 classes!  The track was a major player in the racing the sand section was the whoops run and impacted more then a few of the racers.  We have nick named one of the riders Spider-Man, listen to find out who. Phil and Warren are also calling for a Women’s Division in Supercross.  We recommend dropping the LCQs for 2 women’s heats and adding a women’s main!  Make it happen!!! World Superbike held it first round of 2018 at Phillips Island, AU.  Perianal winner Rea did not do as well as expected but better than might have expected due to having the flu.  With the way the Motorcycles were performing it looks like we could have more than a few different race winners this season.  The Ducati’s and Kawasaki’s seem to be more on par then last year. Big Changes coming to MotoGP, how about Tech 3 becoming KTM or Suzuki?   www.ijustwant2ride.com

World Superbike starts soon! The pack does not think that he rules changes that attempt to limit Rea are actually going to have any impact on the outcome of the season. In MotoGP, we do not believe the hype that Jorge Lorenzo is the fastest guy around! Phil is willing to put his money and time on the line if you are!!! Supercross is in Arlington the “Beast that is the East” steps up to bring us 250 action. Eli Tomac is on rails and no one could catch him! Epic hate for the makeup2mud moments on Supercross Live.  BUT, we offer a suggestion… drop the LCQs and replace them with Heats for the Female division of Supercross!!!   www.ijustwant2ride.com

We talk about the Supercross from San Diego!!! There was some wild racing action on a very tight track.  The layout forced some hard racing both in the 250 and 450s!  That tight track resulted in some of the most aggressive passes of the season, most were all just part of the race but not all.  The biggest event of the night was Ken Roczen crashing into Copper Webb just after Webb had executed a hard but fully straight up pass.  Roczen was not going to have any of that and tried to retake his position with a hard pass of his own.  BUT, Phil and I think that his injuries from last season prevented him from controlling the motorcycle and CRASH, BANG, BOOM! Roczen gets the worse of the feud with a broken hand and out of the race.   Webb had some real damage to his bike but managed to stay in the race but finished near the bottom.  Turns out that Webb and Roczen have some real hard feeling that have even spread to the social media.  What are they feuding about…a girl of course!  Turns out that Webb is dating Roczen’s ex… opps. OH… and we talk about the racing to just not the crashes (like Boggle acting as a aircraft carrier landing strip). Stay Classy San Diego!

THIS is hard to believe! Phil wants to punch his man-crush, JD Beach, in the face! Phil is upset that Jiggy Dog did not race in the Oakland Supercross.  Which he would have totally won had he entered! There is going to be a World Superbike Race in Ireland for 2019.  Does that mean that they are going to drop another race or just add another stop? Supercross finally gives us what the DawgHouse has called for, an early start to a west coast race.  It was so early that Warren missed the early heats!  Big P, Aaron Plessinger and Jason Anderson take care of business while Eli Tomac still struggled.

The X-Games was what capture the attention this weekend!  The snow bike cross and hill climb drag races really grabbed Phil and Warren (Ken did not see them).  The oldest guy at the X-Games “Grandpa” Travis Whitlock won the gold in the hill climb and Cody Matechuk earned the gold in the snow bike cross.  The DawgHouse highly recommends that you check out these events from somewhere on the web! Ken makes a rare cameo appearance on the DawgHouse this week.  While said “I am not here to say I told you so.”  He made sure that we knew he was right on Ken Roczen’s return to Supercross. Speaking of Supercross there was some great racing in Glendale, AZ this past weekend.  Ken again points out that Ken Roczen is near the top in points and that the other 450 riders should be scared, even though Eli Tomac had a convincing win. The guys were quite taken at “Big P” Aaron Plessinger’s second Supercross win of the season in the 250 class.  Defending champ Anderson is still is performing to last years level. .

1st EVER Supercross Triple Crown Event – 6 Main Events!!! In the 450s Eli Tomac is back, Ken Roczen may or may not be back.  The 250s saw rookie Chase Sexton do well with an 8th overall but the regulars clean up overall. The 2018 X-Games WINTER has 3 motorcycle related events.  Ever heard of a “Snowbike”?  Here is a teaser pic of one.  

Some encouraging MotoAmerica news. Interesting Flat Track News Supercross hits Houston and things get Funky!

Supercross kicked off the 2018 season with some great racing. We open the show talking about the how we like the new format of the race night, and we talk about the new metal girds at the starting line.  Looks like Supercross might be on to something good here! Moving on to the 250s we talk about the heat races and the final.  The winner, Shane McElrath, look strong all evening and is going to be in the running all season.  Cianciarulo and Plessinger completed the podium.  Phil made an augment that Cianciaurlo is in the west to prepare him to move up to the 450s next season.    The Supercross 450s saw a lot of action with one of the big names, Eli Tomac, not finishing the night due to a crash and a saggy pants.  Ken Roczen started is comeback season in decent fashion and Justin Barcia becomes the happiest man in Supercross.

Phil has to do an epic journey to the arctic circle this week, so the show can’t go on. Speaking of epic journey… Warren tells us about the most dangerous rides. This show is not live We will be back live next Tuesday to talk Supercross!!!
