Techlandia Educational Radio
Summary: Techlandia is always changing. The podcast started as a collaboration between Alison Anderson, Curt Rees, and Jon Samuelson. Five years later, only Jon Samuelson remains, but with a new crew of hosts. Scott Bedley, Brian Briggs, David Theriault, and Greg Garner are ready to pick up the torch with a number of different educational topics. Authentic topics from people that are trying to be authentic and tell it like it is, and not be among the #edufamous.

Jon Samuelson @jonsamuelson and Scott Bedley @scotteach are back! Taking on Twitter lists and talking a little Pokemon Go. Along the way there are sound effects and some snarky comments. The last Blab that Scott and Jon ever did...because they pulled the plug on Blab later that week.

A chat with Roberto Greco about unschooling and other topics. Rob just finished up the year teaching at Hillbrook School in Los Gatos. He has a great take on how learners should learn, and uses this philosophy by unschooling with his own children. Austin Kleon was mentioning Rob on Twitter, so we are hoping that one of my heroes will listen to this episode. Crossing fingers!

Tips and tricks in a discussion about Pokemon Go. David Theriault (Level 17 on 7/19) and Jon Samuelson (Level 18 on 7/19) have a discussion on how to get started. There are some interesting observations that we can learn from how Pokemon Go has taken off. We invite people to take a listen and hear from people that REALLY play the game.

Jon Samuelson @jonsamuelson and Scott Bedley @scottbedley are back! Listen to a recent review: "A podcast that walks the line between funny and serious; Techlandia gives you the feeling that you are listening in on a staff meeting at a school where they discuss technology and the state of education." - Thanks, Matt Phillip

Jon Samuelson, @jonsamuelson, sits down to talk with Michelle Carlson, @futuredevgroup and Noelle McDaniel @nmccammond21 about their Kickstarter. Michelle has a great playbook for how to start a maker culture in your district called: 180 Days of Making. You want lesson plans, where to start? This book is for you. Back the Kickstarter and take a listen to these enthusiastic educators.
