Critical Issues Commentary Radio
Summary: Critical Issues Commentatry grew out of Bob DeWaay's passion to equip the saints for the work of ministry. In the late 1980's Bob met regularly with a group of local pastors, often presenting position papers on timely doctrinal issues. When he found that the messages were accepted by only a few of the attendees and rarely reached the pews, he chose to speak directly to the people by initiating a bimonthly newletter. Bob DeWaay is teacher and theologian at Gospel of Grace Fellowship in Edina, MN. Shame and/or honor is often portrayed in feasts. The Need for Grace to Understand, Part 2: Luke 9:37-50, presented by Bob DeWaay. One difficulty that the disciples faced was that Jesus called Himself the Son of Man while predicting His rejection. The passage in Daniel on the Son of Man speaks of His dominion. It is a work of grace that causes anyone to believe in Christ. (duration 00:27:38)

When the disciples are unable to help an only child in a desperate situation, Jesus laments the "perverted generation" that they are part of.
