Two versions of Chase the Squirrel have resemblances, but are different. I explore them both in the Tune of the Week for 10/28/22.
Uploaded for the 10/21/22 Old Time Tune of the Week. I am playing three finger style without picks, so as not to disturb the cat.
First attempt at the backing track by Pearl Jam: "Last Kiss". The banjo is mixed much louder. Please forgive the sounds of a metronome, as I have obviously been struggling with timing issues and the metronome clicks bleed over during the quiet spots.
Three related tunes make for an interesting Tune of the Week. They're from Darley Fulks (Shoe Heels Crackin' on the Floor) and Melvin Wine and Dwight Diller (both playing Boatin' Up Sandy, but differently).
