Here is a tune that has stuck with me for over ten years now, and is a staple for me when I play at Old folks homes and such. On the fiddle I treat it as a ballad style, and on the Tenor Banjo more of a dance tune. I have heard many Irish bands play this tune at "sub-light speed", and then again have heard fiddlers play it quite slowly and sweetly. This is a tune I had "fallen in love" with a few years back, and generally play it on the fiddle. As I play Irish Tenor Banjo as well I thought I would give it a try on this instrument. With Audacity one can be a 1 person band. I am playing both parts. I need to get a better grip (strength) on my upper position chords, but it's working.
