ROUND ROCK, Texas (AP) , Dell Inc. on Tuesday posted another quarter of declining sales and profits, the type of results that have disenchanted shareholders and prompted a buyout agreement. NEW YORK (AP) , Apple says a small number of Mac computers at its offices were infected by malicious software, in an attack similar to the one Facebook acknowledged last week. In both cases, computers were infected through software downloaded from a site for software developers. The attacks took advantage of flaws in the Java plug-in for Web browsers.

International Space Station crew members lost communications with ground controllers in Houston for a time on Tuesday, but everybody is fine, NASA said. NASA attributed the problem to a faulty data relay system, according to a report from Agence France-Presse. Flight controllers were updating software when the relay system went out, NASA said.

Somebody hacked Burger King's Twitter account on Monday, posting obscene messages and changing its profile picture to a McDonald's logo. The tweets stopped after a little more than an hour, and Burger King said it had reached out to Twitter to suspend the account. A Twitter spokesman did not immediately respond to a phone message left on Monday.

And you thought smartphone video chat was impressive. Canadian astronaut Chris Hadfield participated in an online chat with users of the social media website Reddit on Sunday , and did so while orbiting the Earth on the International Space Station (ISS).

NEW YORK (AP) , The parent company of Reader's Digest has filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy protection for the second time in less than four years, saying it needs to cut its debt so it can keep restructuring. RDA Holding Co. says it will keep publishing the magazine during the bankruptcy, and aims to be out of Chapter 11 within six months.
