Jen and Dean discussed Ben’s early NY Press comix, his transition between ink and digital, and his latest project, “Up From The Stacks,” which debuted at The New York Public Library with musician, Mark Mulcahy, this past Fall. But, first Dean has a brief conversation with Jen Ferguson about her art. Rollins discusses his music career and his new book, Occupants, a full-color book of photographs taken in Bangladesh, Burma, Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Northern Ireland, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and elsewhere over the last few years. This interview was conducted at BookCourt, the premiere independent book store in Cobble Hill, Brooklyn.
