Massive lay-offs have taken place at IndiGo, India's largest private airline. Nearly 3,000 people have lost their jobs. The airline says sacrifices are needed to survive amid the pandemic. The layoffs by the country's top carrier come amid months of restrictions imposed by the government to curb the COVID-19 outbreak, which has affected the civil aviation industry as well.

On Left, Right & Centre: AAP MLA Atishi talked to NDTV on Delhi's fight against coronavirus. "There are a lot of asymptomatic carriers, not possible to do such large-scale testing with just RT-PCR tests," she said.

Sachin Pilot and other Congress rebels on Thursday challenged in the Rajasthan High Court a move to disqualify them as MLAs in a dramatic escalation of the party's crisis in Rajasthan. Mukul Rohatgi and Harish Salve, both top government lawyers in BJP regimes, are representing them in the petition. The hearing will begin at 1pm on Friday. The Congress has fielded one of its sharpest legal experts, Abhishek Manu Singhvi. The bottom line is it appears at the moment that Sachin Pilot is at the point of no return into the Congress.

Rakesh Sinha, a BJP Rajya Sabha MP tells NDTV that the Congress has become "habitual of daily mutiny". "After every interval you find someone is rebelling against the Congress. It is futile and folly to blame BJP for the incompatibility of Congress leadership," Mr Sinha adds.
