[SPL] July 2014: Commonwealth Poets United - Glenn Colquhoun | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 2117

Commonwealth Poets United is an international exchange between six Scottish poets and poets from six Commonwealth nations. Glenn Colquhoun represented New Zealand for the project. Glenn is not only a poet, but a doctor, his poems a lyrical exploration of the doctor's role. His job, as he sees it, is to encourage more, not less, doubt in doctors, and so provoke greater contemplation. In conversation with SPL Director Robyn Marsack, he talks about visiting Shetland, his Scottish ancestry, and a song of remembrance for his grandmother.
