Trent, Reagan and Dave join together to discuss highlights and lowlights of SXSW; from the poorly-scheduled panels, to the wonderful parties, and Brand® Oversaturation™. We're back with another episode!  Amidst extreme Texas winter weather we gather to bring you some of the local web news, as well as mini-interviews with Garann Means (http://garann.com/) of Austin All-Girl Hack Nite (http://www.meetup.com/Austin-All-Girl-Hack-Night/) and Joe McCann of Austin Javascript (http://austinjavascript.com). As we get back into the swing of things, we also discuss some of our favorite happenings on the internet as of late. It's just like homeroom.

In this episode we sit down with Mark Phillip of AreYouWatchingThis.com. Simply put: "RUWT" is a notification system to let you know when a game in the sport of your choice is getting good. It's available on a wide variety of platforms including but not limited to: iOS, Palm, Android, Firefox, and Google Chrome. It lets you know when to switch the channel. We also chat about GoogleTV and the future of TV.

The ATX Web Show was invited by GeekAustin & Company to do some man-on-the-scene coverage of the Official WPEngine Launch Party held on November 3rd. It was a high class event and a great opportunity to talk to a lot of different people here in the Austin community all out to support WPEngine. So tune in as we talk to Jason, Aaron, Cullen of WPEngine as well as Lynn Bender of GeekAustin and many more.

This week we speak with Four Kitchens, a local web design and development shop specializing in large websites built on Drupal. We talk about Drupal as a CMS, committing back to open source, and the Austin Drupal Community. We're also joined by Christopher Schmitt of Environments for Humans talking about their upcoming jQuery Summit featuring some big names in Javascript and local talent to boot.

This week we feature the Infochimps (http://infochimps.org) who are one of the largest and most agile data suppliers in the world but located right here in Austin, TX. I sat down with Dhruv Bansal, Flip Kromer, and Jospeh Kelly and got the inside scoop on The Infochimps API (http://api.infochimps.com/), their huge collection of data sets and how they handle huge such massive amounts of information. To round off the interview we chat about the pros and cons of having a startup here in Austin. From our breakfast tacos to our tech community, there really are so many great resources here in town.

We're back with another vacation minisode. This time it's with local Indie Web/iPhone App developer, Chadwick Wood who runs Coffeeshopped (http://coffeeshopped.com), a small one man dev shop. Chadwick balances the line between full time freelance contractor and self-app-generating developer entrepreneur. He's already got a handful of really cool apps to his credit: an augmented reality geolocation game, a time-tracking app for freelancers, and a couple experimental iPhone games that are math based awesomeness.

Today we've got a mini-episode, or "minisode" if you will, with Christopher Schmitt (@teleject) and Zoe Gillenwater (@zomigi) who are both authors of books on CSS. Christopher is helping host CSS Summit (http://csssummit.com) on July 28th, 2010, an online conference based here in Austin, with an impressive lineup of speakers, including Zoe herself. A really great episode with what I found to be a really nice impromptu discussion on CSS3 performance. Have a listen and buy their books!

In this episode I'm rejoined by the guys from Paravel (http://paravelinc.com) and we attempt to settle epic disputes with good old fashioned Page Speed Grudge Maches! Which is better, Star Wars or Star Trek? Tune in to find out. This week I joined a special Cafe Bedouins event at Cospace (http://cospaceatx.com) and sat down with Damon Clinkscales (http://damonc.com/). Damon has played a huge role in the web development community by helping start the monthly Austin on Rails (http://austinonrails.org) ruby user group as well as a roaming weekly coffee shop hack night called Cafe Bedouins (http://cafebedouins.com). We talked about his work, his side projects and his idea blog.

This week we caught up with Joe McCann (http://twitter.com/joemccann) over a few beers at Frank to talk about a wide array of things including his work with frog design (http://frogdesign.com), trends he is seeing on the web, javascript, rapid prototyping and the future of web deployment.
