Summary: Frontline Records Rewind airs on internet & analog radio stations and is available as download on iTunes and FrontlineRecords.us. Episodes include Christian music from the 80's, 90's and early 2000's. The first host of the show was Brian Healy, known as the father of Christian Goth and a pioneer of alternative 'music. Rewind Episode 33 introduced Les Carlsen, lead singer of the award-winning Frontline Records metal band, Bloodgood, as the new host. Les' style is relaxed, comedic and features rare conversations with artists and musicians. Also contributing to the program is Executive Producer, Adel Meisenheimer, Meis Music Group President and owner of the Frontline, KMG and Damascus Road Records catalog. The purpose of the program is for nostalgia, re-exploration and introduction with the artist and industry insiders who made it possible. It is entertainment for new and veteran listeners alike. Many episodes feature interview with the artists who provide commentary about the music, background stories and updates on their current activities.

Healy gets together in studio with the one and only Michael Knott (LifeSavers, LSU) to celebrate digital release of his albums, “The Grape Prophet” and “Heaven High”. These guys are good friends and this episode is filled with camaraderie, transparency and free-flowing wit. Knott reveals the back-story for his rock opera, “The Grape Prophet” (L.S. Underground). Songs relate his experience with a Southern California church he attended that had self-proclaimed prophets from Kansas City. Tune in to hear details. Michael performs acoustic renditions of several songs from the album, available digitally for the first time since its 1992 Blonde Vinyl Records release. It’s “Girls Gone Wild” in Frontline Rewind 47 as executive producer, Adel Meisenheimer, interviews Riki Michele, of Adam Again fame. It was fitting to get the girls together on the cusp of Michele’s female-infused new solo album, Push. She and producer, Margaret Becker, primarily wrote the new work, which also features several girlfriends. Getting together in Michele’s San Diego home provided an opportunity to celebrate the new release and reminisce about her very first solo album, Big Big Town. Songs on this first project were written by Gene Eugene (Adam Again) and Steve Hindalong (The Choir) and produced by Gene Eugene. Of course it has funk-rock influences and Adam Again-infused production. Songs featured are from Big Big Town, released digitally for the first time since its 1989 release on Broken Records, and a couple favorites from Push. Listeners get an insider look at Terry Taylor, who produced the album, and hear the story from Mike about how “Final Hour” almost didn’t get finished or recorded.
