The Amazing Chris Guenzler will talk about his whole NRHS Tacoma 2011 Convention plus other trips he has made. This trip started by fly in Portland and a rental car. Sumpter Valley RR, Washington State RR Museum collection, Yakima Trolley and the Northern Pacific RR Museum were visited. SP 4449 Portland to Tacoma started the converntion then a trip to Northwest Railway Museum and train ride. Bob, Elizabeth and Chris then went to the Cascade Tunnel then up into Canada to the Burnaby Central RR then back to the convention for the SP 4449 trip over Stampede Pass and then the SP 4449 return to Portland then a visit to the Oregon Electric Railway Museum. After a rocky start the Amazing Chris Guenzler talks about his recent train trips 4/7/2010 to 6/6/2011. He starts off with the Santa Fe 3751 to and from San Bernardino Railroad Days, the Adirondack Rare Mileage Trips, the Little Rock Express Kansas City to Jefferson City and Northern California 2011 Explorer trips.He did other trips he will also include in this show. Chris really covered alot of ground on these trips and enjoyed them all. Join us for this unique show.

For the past 5 years the North Texas Chapter, NRHS has had the privilege of hosting a 24 hour railwatching event at the Saginaw Depot in Saginaw, Texas over Memorial Day weekend starting on Friday evening and ending Saturday evening for a full 24 hours.
