THE FIRST law of thermodynamics dictates that energy cannot come from nothing. X MARKS the end of the age.  In the new book Planet X, The Sign of the Son of Man, and the End of the Age, Doug Elwell presents compelling evidence that the most important events in human history -- creation, the birth of Jesus of Nazareth, and his Second Coming -- are linked by the regular appearance of a mysterious body dubbed "Planet X" by astronomers who've been searching for it for more than a century.

CLIMATE SCIENCE is apparently like weather in Chicago: if you don't like it, wait 15 minutes because it will change. Heavyweight solar physicists now believe we're heading into a period of very quiet solar activity that may mean much cooler temperatures for planet Earth instead of imminent heat death. SOMETHING WICKED this way comes... Continuing the theme of last week's discussion, filmmaker Rob Skiba shares the research behind the forthcoming sci-fi series Seed.  Rob identifies Apollo (Apollyon in the Book of Revelation) as Osiris to the Egyptians, Marduk to the Babylonians, and Nimrod to the ancient Hebrews.  He's coming back, Rob says, and bringing some very unpleasant company.
