The guys mull the loss to MSU, and the "Games Without A Fake Punt" counter resets to zero.  Iowa's next two opponents played each other in a clash of styles,  and our Beer Snob Supreme is back to discuss whether IPAs are played out, and other styles worth trying.

Floyd stays home, and the guys examine the differences between this season and last.  Our Expert is a Hawkeye with a personal take on US/Iranian relations.  And we look ahead to a visit from Sparty.

The guys discuss the Epic Beatdown of Western Michigan, and what it means.  Our expert attends sporting events and music festivals to escape his daily grind of photographic bikini models.  And we look ahead to Minnesota, and the battle for Floyd.

Hawkeyes take care of business in Ames, despite the best efforts of ISU's passing game and Iowa's secondary.  The guys discuss the identity of the 2013 Hawkeyes (so far), look forward to the last non-conference home game, and chat with an expert who knows how to enjoy a frigid Great Lake.   And here are are some pictures of Eric and others actually surfing Lake Michigan. The guys discuss angst in Hawkeyeland after a win against Missouri State. A Disney expert visits from a magical kingdom, where beer is black and hurling is something you pay to watch.   Oh, and is there a game this weekend?  Who are we forgetting to mention?

Week 1 is done, and the guys break down the most recent heartbreak at Kinnick.  Tory's spouse shares her expertise, and makes us both feel fat.  Confident predictions are made for Missouri State.

The guys are back and "doing this again"!  We touch on the apprehension headed in to 2013, make predictions for NIU, and shamelessly beg the audience for segment ideas.  

All bad things must also come to an end, and so we bid adieu to the 2012 edition of Iowa Football. The guys discuss some of the recent coaching changes, describe an encounter with a Nebraska fan, and share their wishlist to Santa for 2013. Somehow 12 Saturdays meant 14 Episodes, but each one was a blast, and we hope our small & growing audience enjoyed them as well.

Did anyone see that coming? Yeah, pretty much everybody predicted a blowout in the Big House.  The guys discuss a new definition of "successful program."  Maryland and Rutgers are (grudgingly) welcomed to the family.  And our Michigan guest skips the gloating to hope for an upset against Nebraska.       (Here are the states that James presented in the second segment).

Another week, another loss, and another podcast where the guys discuss what has gone wrong (spoiler: Everything) and right (Not Much) with the 2012 Hawkeyes.  Also, Nebraska: Yeah or Nay?  The long-term value of halftime speeches is examined, and a Friendly Wolverine drops by....

The guys try to muster up some emotions for the remainder of the season.  James reopens the 2010 argument (again).  Tory's article is a hit, but even he is in a dark place.  We reconnect with a Hawkeye in Indianapolis who provides intel on Purdue and a "special evening" at Illinois in 1990.

The guys break down the loss to Northwestern and what it means for the Iowa program.  James is still angry, but Tory has moved on.  (To Basketball?)  Our NW guest returns to talk smack and wax political.  And two pervasive Internet arguments are tested.

Can Iowa ever win again?  We discuss the disaster at Kinnick, and what it means for the 2012 and the program.  Our Penn State guest returns, but actually seems to pity us.  We interview a Northwestern Grad, who appears to offer us a 100 point spread.

The guys break down the improbable victory at Michigan State, and discuss the merits of beer and Poutine.  Our Penn State guest provides a confessional of his own.

It's Intermission this week, which gives the guys time to watch other games and enjoy some beers.  We consult with Kurt, the beer snob's Beer Snob.
