Christmas is only a few days away and you’re wondering what to get the special gamer in your life. Or you’re a gamer looking to get that special something for yourself. Either way here are our picks for some gaming stuff you might have missed.

With the Second Opinion Games crew pushing their upper twenties we have many fond memories of feeling our legs fall asleep while sitting on the floor for hours playing Final Fantasy. But does this gaming juggernaut still hold relevancy in today’s gaming landscape? Wes De, Anthony M, Bill Wright, and Paul Tiberius look back at the franchise to see where it was and where it will go.

What time is it? It’s clobbering time! This week the FighterCast crew clobbers WWE 12. Well maybe not clobber it but they’ve had some time to reflect and have a few concerns. Have a listen and see if this game is winning the belt or is down for the 3 count.

The VGAs happened this past weekend. And no I don’t mean the blue-pinned monitor cable on your old Pentium 4 Gateway computer. I’m talking about video awards. We chatter about who got what but more importantly, new game info!

A few months back at NY Comic Con I had the great pleasure of visiting the booth for a company called Reallusion the makers of iClone5, an animation program that uses the Xbox Kinect for real time motion capture. I’ve had some time to play with it and it’s pretty compelling. So in today’s “Talking To The Pros” show we’ll be talking to John Martin of Reallusion about iClone5 and other cool stuff.
