Got a great book idea? Write it without lifting a finger | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:40:00

Haunted by a book idea? But no time or patience to do it yourself? Then HIRE A GHOSTWRITER!  - and then go here: www.LaunchLikeAsuperstar.com How Do You Work With A Ghostwriter? There are an infinite number of ways to have someone write a book for you. Here are some of the most popular: Talk on the phone once every week or two for about an hour. Work with a ghostwriter to develop an outline for your book and then use each phone session to provide enough information for her to write a chapter. Have you already created material on video, audio, or on paper? Give these items to your ghostwriter and let him write an outline and as many chapters as he can without your help. Then let him ask you questions on the phone to fill in the missing information. Tell your ghostwriter what you want to write about and let her create the book. You can come up with the outline together or let her do it. Then just point her to the material you want her to include and let her write. Just make sure you read the final results carefully to make sure you approve of it. (It also helps to know the material in case someone from the media asks you a question about it.) Let the ghostwriter tape interviews with you. Do a marathon interview for two or three days, and then let her go off and write the book. Take what you've written and expand it. You may have written a bunch of stuff that's not quite ready for publication. Let your ghostwriter do all your research for you. Your ghostwriter can do all the library work and all the legwork, too. Let him find the right sources for the information you want. Or let him get the story from your clients or experts you want him to interview.

Global Automotive & Energy Summit Guest Dr. Melvin Gravely | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:21:00

“Supplier Diversity: Driving Shared Commitment in a Competitive Environment” The automotive environment has changed dramatically within the past two years.  Competition is fierce and expectations have increased for both companies with supplier diversity programs and automotive suppliers.   Our shrinking group of 875 minority auto suppliers create and deliver everything from automotive parts, to packaging and shipping, to staffing and executive recruitment.  Their contributions to African American communities are in the millions through jobs, education and economic development.  These suppliers primarily are located in urban and empowerment areas and have a tendency to hire, 70% of the time, within their own community.  Diverse suppliers are losing exponentially with the recent automotive restructuring.  Are companies still committed to supplier diversity programs?  Are minority businesses stepping up to the challenges? Panelists: o   Panel moderator:  Dr. Melvin Gravely, II, Ph.D. o   Bob Socia, VP, Purchasing & Supply Chain GM o   Robert Young, VP, TEMA Toyota o   Tom Lake,VP of Purchasing, Honda   Contributing spokespersons Burt Jordan, Exec. Dir., Ford Global Vehicle and Powertrain Purchasing and Supplier Diversity Development  Sigmund Huber, director, Chrysler Supplier Diversity Development

Publisher, Rolling Out, Munson Steed on Automotive Summit | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: 00:32:00

Munson Steed is more than the publisher of Rolling Out. He is out to change the world - and reach the "hip hop" generation to make a difference in the community. That's why he is the moderator for Rev. Jackson's Rainbow PUSH Automotive Project: THE 12TH ANNUAL GLOBAL AUTOMOTIVE AND ENERGY SUMMIT, Oct. 5 & 6 at MGM Grand Detroit.  www.rainbowpush.org Why Attend? Hear Munson's words - consider these five reasons why it’s important to attend and not let another go by: 1. Change your station, reconsider your position and get outside of yourself to earn some recognition. 2. Involve yourself with people and organizations that are moving forward to a socially responsible agenda and song. 3. Networking starts when you appear on the set, ready and prepared that day. If you are not there, you can’t move ahead. It’s just the story you tell yourself instead. 4. If you want others to hear and support you, if you don’t campaign for the causes of others, you can’t expect     them to heed your call. Can you? 5. There is no reason not to move ahead. Shake the cobwebs out of your head, and be about addressing what has to be said. People who don’t take action or who don’t know what to do will wish that they had not missed their big debut.   ....(Big) opportunities (are) at your disposal, join an organization, attend a meeting and positively impact somebody today. Networking increases your net worth in so many ways, but only if you take advantage and make your power play. www.facebook.com/automotiveandenergysummit
