Cross Encounters

On tonight's show we will hear audio of Richard Peskett, a student of Master's Seminary, preaching open air at the North Hollywood Metro Station, of Tony Miano's encounters with various people outside an abortuary, and one to one encounters with professing Christians presented with the "Three Minutes to Live Scenario."

Our guest for tonight's show will be Travis Yates, Director of Ten-Four Ministries. Tony and Travis will discuss reaching the law enforcement community with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Hear Tony's conversation with Julie, a 17-year-old girl and mother of a 15-month-old boy, who was at the abortion clinic to murder her second child. Hear Tony's conversation with Jerry, a young man pushing a baby in a stroller who just walked his girlfriend into the abortion clinic to murder his second child. Tony will be joined by his guest, Shane Dodson. Shane will share his testimony of coming to the realization that even though he was serving the Lord as an evangelist and open-air preacher, he was, in fact, a false convert. Then, God saved him. Tony will play a recent conversation he had on the campus of Cal State University Northridge, with a young man named Jeremy. Tony will also tackle the sacred cow of "friendship evangelism." Tony believes "friendship evangelism," as it is most commonly practiced by Christians today is neither friendship nor evangelism. Tony's guest for hour two will be pastor, church planter, open-air preacher, and author Emilio Ramos. Tony will talk to Emilio about his new book, Convert. How does a right understanding of conversion affect and inform one's evangelism? And, as always, Tony will be taking your calls.
