  Vedo (Team Usher) – Decatur and Atlanta, CA Vedo is an R&B singer from Atlanta, GA. Crediting Usher, along with Michael Jackson as one of his inspirations, he is right at home with his coach. He hopes to use his experience on “The Voice” to launch a successful career that will help him take care of his mom, who is battling cancer. Garrett Gardner (Team Shakira) – Ringwood, NJ Garrett is back for his second try on “The Voice,” bringing his funky pop/rock/blues style. He grew up around music and watched his mom and dad play together in a band. This 17-year-old high school student from New Jersey also plays guitar, bass, drums, keyboards, ukulele and mandolin and is inspired by everyone from The Beatles to The Black Keys to Bruno Mars.   Russell Hornsby stars in NBC’s acclaimed drama series “Grimm” as Nick’s partner, Hank Griffin, who is blind to Nick’s new powers in the Grimm world. Hornsby is best known for his long-running lead role as Los Angeles cop Eddie Sutton in “Lincoln Heights.” Most recently, he starred opposite Denzel Washington and Viola Davis in August Wilson's “Fences.”

ABOUT THE FILM - A Lovely DayIn 2009 Oakland based independent filmmaker Kerri Gawryn began chronicling the work of Beats, Rhymes and Life (a local Oakland, CA advocacy organization for youth of color) and the Oakland High School Fifth Element Hip Hop Club.  The result is A LOVELY DAY, an inspiring feature-length film documenting the trials, tribulations, and achievements of a group of Oakland high school students and rappers. The young rappers embark on a six-month journey to find their voice, their talent, and their path to healing within Hip Hop culture. Our guests will be participants from the film, which screens April 23rd at the Nashville Film Festival.

Our guest today is actress Caroline Dhavernas, who stars as Dr. Alana Bloom in “Hannibal.” Dr. Bloom is a former psychology professor, FBI consultant and colleague to Will Graham (Hugh Dancy). She is also a former student of Hannibal Lecter and sometimes clashes with him over his unconventional treatments.   HANNIBAL airs Thursday nights, 10 -11pm (Eastern) on NBC

The film tells the story of the five black and Latino teenagers from Harlem who were wrongly convicted of raping a white woman in New York City’s Central Park in 1989.

  Reggie Lee stars in NBC’s acclaimed drama series “Grimm” as Sgt. Wu, an officer in the Portland Police Department.  Lee is well known for his role as Secret Service Agent Bill Kim on "Prison Break" as well as for playing Chow Yun Fat's villainous right-hand man, Tai Huang, in “Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End.” More recently, he starred in “Life as We Know It” with Katherine Heigl, and just finished filming “Here Comes the Boom” with Kevin James and Salma Hayek. Later this year, Lee will be seen starring opposite Jason Statham in the Lionsgate action feature “Safe.” GRIMM airs Friday nights 9 -10pm(EST) on NBC.
