Joy is an interesting state. It's hard to find many people who celebrate it. Even fewer who embrace it on a daily basis. And yet, it's something that almost everyone strives to grasp on to. How do we find joy? How do we look at our troubles and still understand that God is good, loving, and kind in the middle of all the chaos? How can we reach a place where joy overflows. Join us in this series, as we learn to turn our heart's frown, "Upside Down."
George Costanza. You probably know him best from the show, Seinfeld. He was the short, balding friend who always had something crazy going on with his job, relationships, friends. But, in one particular episode, we get to know him best for his ridiculously thick wallet. He doesn't get rid of anything. He's a hoarder. He has tons of credit cards. He holds on to anything financial with a kung fu grip. Remind you of anyone personally? (hint, look in the mirror) In this series, we'll look at how mankind is called to be generous. How what we have isn't really ours to begin with, and how to break, "The Costanza Effect."

Falling down hurts. Ever tripped and fallen flat on your face? It knocks the wind out of you, makes you dizzy, and sometimes it even makes it difficult to get up on your own. Someone lending an open hand to help you up would mean a lot. But, what if everyone is doing their own thing? What if people are so consumed with themselves they don't have time for you or anyone else? It gets lonely. We all need people in our lives. It's time to change the dynamic. Let's flip it around and help people see the need for relationships. It's gearing up to be a "Open Handed Revolution."
