Sunday Night Showdown returned to the airwaves to cover WWE’s SummerSlam PPV with the cast of usual suspects “Internet Dave” Standish, Harmony “Boom Boom” Sexay, Mark “The Shark” DiCarlo & “Mr. Money on the Mic” JJ (ALL CAPS) $exay. The SNS crew broke down all the action on the PPV and offered their analysis on the show and JJ had a first as he went 0-5 in his quick pick scenario’s and Mark “The Shark” DiCarlo came out “Mr.PPV”. After the show went off the air JJ opened the phone lines taking several calls from the SNS Family on their thoughts on the PPV before JJ ended the show with a little EMF Unbelievable.

UnPlugged with JJ $exay returned to the airwaves on the SNS Radio Network to discuss “News of the Week” and review the go home show for WWE Smackdown going into Sunday’s SummerSlam PPV.Chris Kelly joined the show right off the top as Crelly & JJ welcomed Former WCW, WWE, and current Lucha Libre USA talent Shane Helms. Helms discussed his recovery from his serious accident, a timeline for a return to the ring, thoughts on the former cruiserweight division in WWE, His decision to sign with Lucha Libre USA and not TNA, His thoughts on the Green Lantern movie…or at least reactions to it that he heard,his run as the Hurricane and his program with The Rock, his iPhone app and more in this 20 min interview. JJ and Crelly ran down the latest episode of Smackdown giving their thoughts on the show and perspectives going into Sunday’s SummerSlam. Crelly talked “News of the Week” as JJ started things off talking about the recent back and forth between Bill Goldberg and Tommy Mercer aka TNA’s Crimson on twitter, and offers advice to Mercer.After the break “The Sensational Seqeul”Sean joined the show to talk the latest gaming and movie news.A very good discussion over accountability of parents and the overall misconceptions of the general media blaming video games for violence. JJ took a few calls before the host of WWFD Nem called in and literally de-railed the show with some extremely controversial content regarding CM Punk & James E. Cornette…yes this actually happened

WNL Returned to the airwaves on the SNS Radio Network on 8-8-11 with “The Outlaw of the IWC” The TreyDawg & “Mr. Money on the Mic” JJ (ALL CAPS) $exay. The boys started things off with the “News of the Week” sponsored by Wrestling-Online.com including the recent WWE releases and the apparent resignation of Gail Kim. After the break the boys were joined by Pro Wrestler/Promoter Devon “Hannibal” Nicholson. Devon discussed his 6.5 million dollar lawsiut against Abdullah the Butcher in which Devon believes he was infected with Hepititus C in a match with Abdullah.Devon discussed his longtime rivalry with Abdullah from 2006-2009, Going to the WWE Training camp and be offered a contract…only to lose it after testing positive for Hep C. Devon discusses his outrage over the 2011 HOF Induction of Abdullah, His Documentary Dont Bleed on Me, The Dangers of a Double Blood match , The status of the lawsuit, Abdullah’s reluctance to give a blood sample, Pro Wrestlers who have Hep C and have wrestled for promotions , Devon gives updates on his upcoming Indy shows including a Randy Savage Tribute show authorized by Lanny Poffo, an upcoming movie on his life in pro wrestling , and warnings to up and coming wrestlers in the bussiness. Devon gave JJ & Trey nearly an hour in this very candid interview and his story is very heartfelt and you learn about the dangers of pro wrestling. After the break The Boys ran down RAW leading into Sunday’s Summerslam before taking a few calls and ending the show on this latest edition of WNL.

UnPlugged with JJ $exay returned to the airwaves on the SNS Radio Network located @ www.snsradionetwork.com on 8-5-11 with special guests Nick & Matt Jackson The Young Bucks (formerly known as Generation Me). JJ opened the show with the Smackdown recap and was joined by Chris Kelly of Headlocks2Headlines.com. The Boys were then joined by Nick & Matt Jackson of the Young Bucks. Topics discussed in the interview include: What happened in TNA, working with ROH, Being employed with TNA but not working shows or making money, The creative issues in TNA, RVD’s comments toward them, thoughts on The Kings of Wrestling and them going to WWE, Comparisons and diffrences between TNA & Ring of Honor, The decision to leave TNA and how it came about, and What does the Future hold for The Young Bucks. After the break Crelly covered the “News of the Week” including the releases from the WWE and the boys were then joined by “The Sensational Sequel” Sean to talk some gaming news. JJ also ranted about the newest trend in film & movies regarding etchnicities changing in longtime established characters. The Summer Spectacular has given wrestling fans many memories throughout the years. In this two part series, Sean Beckerman looks back at the greatest matches in SummerSlam history. Part One features the Early Years (1988 – 1997) of the event known as the “Mania of Summer.” Back in 1988, the World Wrestling Federation was exploding nationally. Wrestlemania was well established and the previous year featured the launch of the Survivor Series. Now all the WWF needed was a massive event between the two Pay Per View’s so on 29th August 1988, Summerslam was born. It has gone on to become arguably the second biggest event of the year (close to the Royal Rumble). The early years featured several firsts in the history of the WWE. Some examples of this include being the first WWE PPV held outside of North America, the first WWE PPV held outdoors, the only PPV where the WWE offered a million dollar grand prize to one lucky viewer, and the only wrestling PPV where the main event was not a wrestling match. So get ready to relive the history of the Summer Sizzler and go Beyond The Bell.

Ricky talked about working on Silver Spoons, the cast of the show including Alfonso Ribeiro, working as a child star, Being a wrestling fan and meeting Andre the Giant, Preparing for the role by watching Youtube, The Finisher he wanted to use …but his costar wouldn’t have it, upcoming projects, portraying a wrestler and the casual publics view of pro wrestling. JJ & Trey jumped into the RAW Recap before hitting the next break. The boys opened the phone lines and read a few emails before journeying down to that magical land of Burkina Faso for a special email from royalty before closing out the show with another Living Colour hit from the 80’s…Glamour Boys…lol on this latest episode of WNL.

JJ gave his thoughts on the product and show before being joined by Chris Kelly of Headlocks2Headlines.com to talk “News of the Week” including TNA promoting CM Punk footage from 2003-04 on their on demand service.Crelly announced he was bound for Philly as he is coming to America for TNA’s Bound for Glory PPV.
