Last night Sunday Night Showdown returned to the airwaves to cover WWE's Extreme Rules PPV from Baltimore Maryland. T he show kicked off with Sheamus attacking Triple H in the backstage area, later that night Sheamus would win the Street Fight. Only one title change took place and that was in the "Extreme Makeover match" where Beth Pheonix beat Michelle McCool to become the new Womens Champion...and the extreme makeover gimmick...well it wasn't utilized and the SNS crew made several mentions of that during the broadcast. Also on the show JJ was accurate as he picked CM Punk to go over Mysterio with help by the newest member of the SES Joey Mercury and in a weird twist "The WorldWide Phenomenon" Internet Dave went verbally toe to toe against "The International Sensation" Chris Kelly...JJ quickly stepped in and will be having these 2 personalities taking on each other in the confines of a Steel Cage at the next efed PPV . We saw Jack Swagger retain The World Heavyweight Championship against Randy Orton with a clean win, Jericho lost in the cage to Edge...and John Cena retained the WWE Championship in a Last Man Standing Match against Batista with help from a roll of Ducktape...and that caused some interesting discussion by the SNS crew. UnPlugged with JJ $exay returned on 4-20 to discuss NXT with special guest host "The Hef". JJ and Hef went over the riduculas challenge this week and commented on the American Gladiators feel to the show, as well The Hef was there in New Jersey at the Izod Center for Mondays RAW and that was discussed as well. Sensational Sean joined JJ after the break and gave a review of Splinter Cell Conviction and video gaming news was discussed. UnPlugged with JJ $exay returned last night with a very interesting show. JJ was scheduled to have a guest co host to cover NXT but he turned out to be a no show so JJ opened the phone lines and was joined by Chris Kelly who attended the NXT/SMACKDOWN tapings live in England and business picked up with a discussion over the move by WWE to put SMACKDOWN on the SyFy network as JJ took calls from a few listeners with differing opinions. The show continued with "The Sensational Sean" as JJ and Sean talked videogames and had some interesting technical glithces with Skype. Host "The Power" Andy Knowles & co-host "The King Of All Of Italy" Mike Siciliano return for another edition of the Pro Wrestling Rewind. This week, Royal Power, with the King demanding to be called the World Heavyweight Champion, due to the e-fed currently being run on sundaynightshowdown.com, discuss the atrocity that was TNA Impact and the "Knockouts Lockbox Showdown". Also, discussion of the tragic death of former WCW U.S. Champion and WWF Tag Team Champion Chris Kanyon, as well as the re-emergence of a founding father of Ring of Honor, Christopher Daniels, and his return to ROH following his departure from TNA. The King has some poignant remarks as to how badly TNA dropped the ball with Daniels, and how much of a benefit ROH will receive with this founding father back in the fold. Also on the show JJ did a review of the new remake of a classic movie "Clash of the Titans" and "The Sensational Sean" and Joshua Piedra joined the program to cover a review of Final Fantasy 13.
