EB 584 was the soundtrack to your Memorial Day Weekend and opens with new music by Reggae upriser, Collie Buddz, new tunes by Dave Matthews, a live cut by Robert Randolph and TFB, The Dead at the Spectrum in Philly for the last time during their 2009 Spring tour, and the podcast closes out with music by Seattle up-and-comers Acorn Project.

EB 583 tends to be more on the dub and tronic side of the scene this week after I produced a Reggae event for five hours leading up to the show. Bisco launches us from the start with The Munckin Invasion from the 2007 Trancegression Music Festival, Lotus live in Philly Turkey Day weekend 2007, a studio cut by EOTO, new music by The Nate Wilson Group, and closes with live Bob Marley and The Wailers, plus new Reggae artist Bitty McLean.

EB 582 opens with a local group called Rinse Repeat, explore classic live Moe from the Wetlands in 98, a solid band on the rise from NJ called Woodfish, live Yonder Mt with Sam Bush from thier 2009 Spring Tour, acoustic Trey Anastasio for the Smokers Lounge, and closes with bonus filler for the podcast from new track by Dahwey Congo called Daybreak

EB 580 starts off with SCI taking on Bob Marley during their 2000 Fall Tour, Antibalas Afrobeat Orchestra also gives a nod to Marley, new STS 9, a studio number by Yamagata, your emails, and closes with a live track by The Infamous String Dusters

EB 579 gets more into the liverocknica sounds with a hefty jam by Umphreys McGee, new music by Pretty Lights, a studio cut by Lotus from their album Hammerstrike, live Tractorbeam, an acoustic track by Reid Genauer on his solo tour last year, your emails, and a surprise closer.

EB 578 opens up with DMB teaming up with Robert Randolph and Ivan Neville covering Marley, live Steve Kimock and Friends from the recent NorVa show, new dubs by John Browns Body and Dubmatix, Umphreys from their new studio album Mantis, and The Smokers Lounge segment with a Jamgrass tribute to Phish, acoustic Spearhead, and Clapton

EB 577 part 1 opens up with the blue and wailing harmonica jam from Jason Ricci and The New Blood, new dubs by Dubmatix and Dahwey Congo, live Bisco from their recent HOB stop in Boston, new Jounce, new Peter Francis and Barefoot Truth, and acoustic Umphreys McGee in the EB Smokers Lounge.

EB 577 part 2 serves up Phish from the Clifford Ball as part of the EB Clifford Ball DVD giveaway contest and you get to hear some vintage Moe from the Buffalo Creek Music Festival in 1997

EB 576 part 1 starts off with SCI teaming up with Michael Franti during the Winter Tour 2000. EB also plays back and Phish's return to The Hampton Coliseum and talks about the reunion.

EB 575 part one starts off with a recent live show by Codename, improv from the Jam Cruise Jam Room, a goofy live track by Yonder Mountain String Band, Quactus, and the acoustic segment called The Smokers Lounge featuring material by Blind Melon and Tim Palmieri

EB 575 part two rages out a trqck from Phish at The Hampton Colliseum in Fall of 1997, an interview with Les Claypool, Umphreys McGee from their 2009 Winter Tour, and The Seth Yacavone Band recorded earlier this year in Stove, VT.

Les Claypool calls into the show to talk about his new album, Of Fungi and Foe, set to hit streets on March 17th. Listen to the full interview featuring bonus material that I couldn't air over the radio.

EB 574 Part 2 continues some acoustic work with Barefoot Truth, studio U-Melt, more dub by Collie Buddz and Midnite, SCI with Warren Haynes in Deer Creek, and closes with DSO taking on the classic Cornell University Dead show in 1977.
