10/21/2012 Our 5th year anniversary celebration | File Type: audio/mpeg | Duration: Unknown

This year we celebrate a milestone, Won't you join us? It was back in September 2007, that Eric Altman and Sean Forker came up with the idea of hosting an internet talk show to talk with researchers, investigators and experiencers who dealt with the stranger side of life. Subjects that were just beyond the edge of reality. They wanted to know if there was life after death. Were there such things as Ghosts and hauntings? Do undiscovered creatures like Bigfoot, Lake Monsters, and the Mothman really exist? Are we not alone in the universe and being visited by Aliens traveling here in UFO's? Do people really have the ability to see the future and speak to the dead? Eric and Sean wanted answers to some of these greatest mysteries and more. They wanted to leave the world of they knew and travel far beyond the edge. On October 26, 2007, Beyond The Edge Radio was born. The first show aired that night on Blog Talk Radio and our very first guest was Paranormal Society of Pennsylvania Founder and paranormal investigator Rick Fisher. Since that day, BTE Radio has grown and added many new faces and names to the show. We've had many great co-hosts over the years including Monica Rawlins, Joe Biello and the show's current co-host for the past two years Lon Strickler. We've also had some fantastic segments hosted by great hosts such as Lon Strickler, Scott Walton, Nick Redfern, and James Baker. Who can forget some of the top name guests we have had on the program. Top names in the paranormal community field have included John Zaffis, Rosemary Ellen Guiley, Lloyd Auerbach and Dr. Barry Taff. From the Cryptozoology field, the guest list has included John Green, Ken Gerhard, Robert W. Morgan, Linda Godfrey and Mark Milhalko. Ufologists, Stanton Friedman, Stan Gordon, John Ventre, Mac Maloney have shared their thoughts on alien life and unidentified flying craft. And of course one of our most popular and most visited guests haunted survivor Bill Bean with close to ten appearances on the show. These are just a few names of the hundreds of fascinating and informative guests in their related fields we've had on the show with many more great guests to come. This week we celebrate over 300 episodes and five years of searching for answers to the world’s greatest mysteries and we have you to thank for it. You our listeners have stood by us and supported BTE Radio in our quest. Without you coming along with us on this journey, we would not be here five years later so this is not just a celebration of BTE Radio being on the air for five years, but five years of you supporting us and for that we are truly grateful and even more cause for celebration. So this week as an added bonus and a way of saying thanks, we have some great prizes to give away to say thank you an some great surprises for all our listeners who tune in live this week. Including great BTE swag, autographed collectibles, Bigfoot T-shirts, books and DVDs all up for grabs this weekend plus a few special call in guests from past shows and a few surprise call in guests on the show as well. Won't you tune in this week and join Eric, Lon and Sean as we celebrate and say thank you for supporting us for five years and a special thank you to our past co-hosts, segment hosts, guests, fans, listeners, and friends as we all get set to take another trip beyond the edge!
